Yes, it was that scene with the little Nishimiya that made me cry; I cried about three times while watching the movie, Yes, Koe no Katachi does portray Ishida's relationship and redemption very well. Which ends up being quite satisfying and exciting. I remember I first encountered Koe no Katachi when I saw a school assignment hanging at school that featured Nishimiya, and coincidentally, I saw Koe no Katachi And I think I got bored and interested, thinking it would be great for a school project, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Is there a major difference between the manga and the anime of Koe no Katachi?

I think Megu Mee's plot twist is sensational, and I never would have expected that. I really wanted a sequel, but it probably didn't happen because I saw that the anime didn't sell well Unfortunately, But I'm already satisfied with the anime's conclusion, even if it's still somewhat open-ended.

Oh, that's great that it's finished, so I can watch it without worrying about episode releases, and I plan to watch it soon, maybe even this month, What's your favorite season?

For me, the only Fairy Tail arcs that I truly find good are the Edolas arc, the Grand Magic Games arc, and Fairy Tail Zero. The rest, I believe, are mediocre to poor. Why I think Fairy Tail fails in some things and repeats the same formula too often with many arcs, But I really have to agree with you, the Fairy Tail soundtrack is incredible, one of the best I've ever seen in anime.
I don't really like the fanservice and ecchi in Fairy Tail; it has mild moments, but it also has many blatant moments that are hard to ignore and, at least for me, very bothersome, But Fairy Tail isn't all bad either; it has interesting things beyond those arcs.

Ah, interesting. I learned about MAL from an acquaintance who made videos showcasing the site, and after a while I became more interested and created an account when I started to delve even deeper into the animes, And I don't know how, but many people added me and became interested in my profile. Out of curiosity, how did you find my profile? Was it through another profile? But I'm happy with the number of people I've met on MAL; they're all very nice people, and I've developed some good friendships with them And I still talk to many people to this day, if you go to the comments on my profile.
Oh yeah, Hitler is on MAL, I think it's totally random that he's here, and Karl Marx is even there too.

This year I was more focused on medical recovery through gym so never got much time to focus on something new for now.

fair enough. I do try to enjoy my laziness as much as possible and everyone should too.
I am not one of these people who pack their holidays with plans and then spend most of
their time complaining about how they didn´t have any time to relax - sarcastic hint at my
coworkers :D I am already bracing myself for all that talk :D.

I have plenty of plans thank you very much :D. but they are mostly little things, little hints about
what I want to improve or try out like wanting to learn a bit of editing, wanting to read five manga,
watching more anime (2025 definitely wasn´t THE year in that domain :D) and maybe improve my
workout routine etc. obviously nothing super epic but little by little, brick by brick :)
we´ll see which of those resolutions will end up in flames but I don´t really beat myself over it :D.
those are ideas, some will definitely fail but hey, whatever keeps one motivated. surviving is a fair
thing to want! I hope we all will. I kinda don´t expect this year to be anything exceptional but you never
know. definitely not planning to change my job for at least next 2-3 years. so there is that.

I think we do share some taste. Attack on Titan is one of my favorites too,
I’ve rewatched it a few times even though it’s long. And I’m not really into pure romance,
but romance mixed with mystery or supernatural always works for me :D

Honestly the business part of it is mostly boring just because business is meh, but the other parts can be quite cool! like I had a module this semester called "efficiency" and it uses software to measure the efficiency of certain things. like in my assignment I chose to learn about the Premier league in football/soccer, and I learned and wrote about which clubs are most efficient, and it covers so much different types of efficency it was pretty eye opening! it was extra fun for me because im a huge football fan! But I have no idea how much teachers teach it, Its quite a lot tho

Oh yes i am aware of the voting system! I was actually paying a lot of attention to it! for most of the season Lin Ling was actually number 1, but like after the last couple eps, yeah x just took over again and dominated! there was also a vote befor the anime even aired, and e soul was number 11, which the creators confirmed led to him not being part of the tournament! so this whole concept is really cool but im not sure how it would work... because if x never won the vote... like how could he even possibly lose to anyone lol

Hahaha yeah I understand! but i also heard rhat season 1 was very very fast paced like compared to the source material. like a lot of things were skipped. and I heard that season 2 will be directly addressing this as theres rumours it will be 30 episodes or more! im very bias for this show tho so ill love it no matter what, I thoroughly enjoyed each episode so much, im usually not too much of a fan of episodic style shows, but this for me, every episode was so good!
25 21 is about this girl who wants to be the best fencer basically, and chases her role model who is a very young gold medalist! and welcome to waiki is a lot more simple, just about a group of friends, and like idek, a bunch of drama happens? but its like not really drama drama, more so funny drama. its practically a comedy imo with romance!

Omg yeah, season 2 was like fake confirmed in the anime even tho there was no offical confirmation, that was so funny haha. But exactly! this is a spin off but because its gintama we can basically consider this canon. Maybe she'll be in season 2 if theres ever one, but yeah I still havent seen anyone mention her.
I see yeahh thats fine if we disagree! me personally, im not one to go against the ideas of the ending, like whatever direction the author wants to go ill happily accept as long as its written well and executed well! Like AOT had one of the most hated endings in manga history, because people didnt like how it went! but I persoanlly loved it! and I still love it even more so due to the anime! And im also glad the anime community seemed to like it too compared to its original reception in the manga community! how did u find the aot ending btw?

Oh I see Same with me, got sick pretty bad at the start of 2025 around January something, so I feel you. Hope, this year no more sickness and a lot of good moments, I mean it's hard to recall everything that you watched even I have had it normally so nothing big XDXD except only if a show was too good to forgot.

Iruma-Kun is honestly so good, one of the few anime I don't get bore while watching it, always makes you jump to next ep right away after finishing a season, have been following it now when season 2 was airing.

The Apothecary Diaries for me the kind of show I wasn't expecting to turn out to be that good, Definitely felt like a hidden gem, pretty underrated in terms of popularity.

Panty & Stocking I remember dropped it like after watching 2-3 episodes back then, if you say s2 was amazing then only I might give it a second chance

Akiba maid war and Ao no Orchestra I haven't watched them yet but yeah will try them out in my free time

Well For me I would say like I didn't watched a lot of anime in 2025 but yeah I found few gems that kept me hooked and occupied are:

-Lord Of Mysteries: Probably my first time trying a Chinese anime, but i swear it didn't disappoint me at all. Basically mc got isekai'd in the Victorian type era where superior being with supernatural power rules the universe, pretty interesting but watch only in Eng dub if you want to understand what's the starting plot, cuz Chinese dub for me was confusing since I'm not used to it.

-Shoushimin Series: a mystery anime probably watched after long time, reminded me of Hyouka, And it was pretty good i would say.
-Nier Automata: This is based on the game, if you've heard it's a very popular game.
-Pluto: Ahh Great Anime, Something that Only Urasawa can deliver, one of his finest works.
-Uzumaki: Im a big fan of Junji Ito really liked the manga, Anime was decent, maybe they could have put more effort into it but yeah aight watch.
-Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc- Sequel to the Public School Arc, this season was impressive better than previous one.

That's it, other than this watched you know mainstream or popular ones this year.

Lol what the fuck is "too LGBT"?? That's a stupid complaint, especially since we rarely hear about shows being "too straight" LOL. However, if people have specific complaints regarding how gay people are portrayed, I can see that. Most, if not all, shows that portray gay characters are written by Leftists. Which means that just like the Japanese, they see that specific group of people with a very narrow POV, which usually results in said gay characters' most outstanding qualities including being.... gay. Which is okay in the beginning, but gets annoying very quickly. Especially seeing how abrasive they are towards anybody who says anything contrary to their opinion. If anything, I want more Bi portrayal on screen. there are way too many gay characters in Hollywood. And even so, you'll see sexism when bi people are portrayed. There are many more Bi female characters than male ones. Why? Because MxM is so ewww, amirite? Even Lucifer (the TV show) never showed the devil being with a guy, despite openly claiming to be interested in both sexes.

I have many thoughts about the entire trans people debate. Honestly, most of the concerns raised by American Leftists are garbage. You want the world to recognize people as "otherkins" or whatever the fuck they're called and refer to people as xer/xi and whatever new word they dream up every week, as their new pronouns. They're a joke. All of this is. I'm not doing that shit. No sane person will.
