No worries, I too bleped and derped in my Santa gifts (I got nervous by trying to conform to the form-writing limits, lol). You're good!
I too have things I'm currently watching so my SS' recommendations to me are also on hold for now but you just go at your own pace. I'm looking foward to checking out your thoughts once you do start/finish it!

My first manga was Gantz, a marvel, but then the adaptations have been terrible, even so the Live Action ones were amazing, although there is a lot of story to adapt and I hope one day they can do it.

Well, Monoke is a very unique anime that is definitely not for everyone.
I liked it and would recommend it to anyone who likes supernatural anime
that focuses more on story and dialogue than action,
and is open to little artistic freedom because it often looks like it was made by people high on LSD.
However, if you prefer action to story and more "conventional" animation, then it might not be for you.
