You said Birdie Wing was a "skin deep character driven golf anime". Unfortunately, it is annoyingly skin deep for issues that deserve a more serious take. But the show looks more plot-driven than character-driven. Eve does not have much personality outside of wanting a challenge in golf and caring about her friends. Aoi is even worse in that regard. And as you probably know, the plot is bonkers and basically why we keep watching the show.

Thank you, finally another person on here talking positive on primagi . While the character growth is slow, nonetheless it’s still character growth and there is a lot of things in this anime that unresolved. And it really unfair to compare it to love live and selection project because they are not for the same audience and it is shorter. With the pretty series and aikatsu series character growth takes a lot of time. Overall, I liked your review.
