My Rating Scale

1-4 More than likely trash however not always
5 Not bad but not good either
6 Had redeeming features but not enough to be considered 'good'
7-8 Enjoyable and overall well-made
9-10 Top tier must watch
Yeah I know right. I don't think it should be cancelled just because it shows something uncomfortable. I am still conflicted about the fanservice ,but I have a feeling the protagonist will get better. Also every good story has some messed up stuff. Even the Greek tragedy or any other mythology for that matter. I'm not too religious, but the stories are great. I also don't understand why we should just focus on one flaw. From what I've heard Mushoku might be the best Isekai after Re zero and Konosuba. So doesn't make sense to just drop a show because of one thing. You can ask me such questions tho, they are fun to discuss about. On a different note, you should try Steins Gate if you haven't yet. It is my top anime for sure. But I will say don't pay the score too much mind. It is fine if you don't think it is that good. I just want people to enjoy it for what it is.
Yeah I forgot made in abyss movie. I still have to watch Jujutsu kaisen. About Mushoku, I haven't watched it yet but from the clips I know people have an issue with his pervertedness. I honestly don't mind fan service as long as it's not dumb. But I gotta admit watching a 40 year old lusting over 13 year olds is eerie. But I also do understand that to show self improvement you have to first address the flaws. I am not of the opinion that just because something I don't like happens in an anime, it becomes a bad anime or should be cancelled. But still this is the second time I've been genuinely creeped out by fan service, first one being the mom isekai. Overall Mushoku has many things that people might not like, like the protagonist or his father, but I guess it's necessary for a story. I'm honestly confused on this one since I'm not a LN reader. What about you. Or is there some other controversy I don't know about.
Well this season I have only watched Horimiya because of college midterms. So from last year, Kaguya sama(Best), Re zero, Munou no nana, tower of god, Moriarty the patriot, Kakushigoto(really good) , Haikyuu, A certain scienific railgun, Eizouken, Somali, Asteroid in love (surprisingly), I'm probably not a good judge of Slice of life and rom com because I give an 8 to all of them, so I liked most of them. Unfortunately 2020 didn't have as much edgy stuff as i would like. Unpopular opinion tho, I didn't like Oregairu as much. It is good but Hachiman isn't as relatable as people say. A lot of it seems unnecessary. You?
Edit: Also Dorohedoro, How could I forget this one.
I'll add them to my ptw. But wait Kevin penkin is doing Eden?? If that's true you just made my day. Are you a seasonal watcher or a binger. I binge after the season ends honestly, with a few exceptions.
Yeah I love those two. Next season I'm most hyped about Moriarty the patriot, MHA, slime diaries, Eden's zero, Tokyo revengers, an isekai about slime, an anime about kabaddi, and megalobox 2. I'm really worried about gokushufudou tho. What about you?
That's fair. This might be random but do you think that "anime" is kinda lacking in the horror department. If not then what is your favorite horror anime. Mine is Another(despite its flaws). I think it is hard to scare someone using animation.
Yes, we do seem to have similar taste. My favorite genre tho would be mystery, thriller, psychological, etc. But it is so funny cause I seem to become very critical when it comes to these genre but I am pretty laid back when it comes to slice of life. Also as I get older I seem to look for more light hearted stuff.
