No, you should watch the episodes because of all the backstory and the reason it gets so much better is because of the development of the characters and plot which if you skip any canon episodes would be kinda boring or they won’t make sense
Btw all the episodes from the very beginning are quite funny if u wanna watch just for that then do it but I suggest watching all the canon episodes so everything makes sense later on.

The first 50 or so episodes are pretty good and overall it’s pretty funny with decent action but around episode 250 ( i know that’s long) it gets really amazing with the plot twists, new characters, the plot and other stuff so I suggest you watch it because I’m my opinion it’s the best anime I’ve ever seen and if u check my anime list you can see I’ve seen quite a few anime.

Yeah, man I couldn't imagine having to wait for each episode anymore. Though I wish the season was still going for me/never ended :(

Oh yeah. The novel is finished. And it is much much longer than manga. In fact manga is just a the 3d or 4th book while there are ~25 of them.
I would recommend reading the novel - it is much better as well.

Yup I feel like here character development and the story is the best out of all of them. Roxy story started great but ended up damsel-in-distress type of story and that was it. Sylphy story was also pretty good tho.
Did you finish all the books?

I think, that it was pretty good. How he convinced the other adventurers to support him and his talk about not being allowed to die was nice. The fight against the horde was portrayed well. Only that they cut the scene with the meat shields short took away a bit from it, but it's understandable that it was done this way.

That Cow Girl refused to escape was stupid of her. On the other hand, if the livestock were to be killed, she would be penniless and a miserable life would await her either way. Plus, like she said, it would rob GS of his place to return to.
