I see you're watching Nichijou! I've seen a lot of clips of it, and it looks pretty funny! Would you recommend it?

Hey, I only picked up Gintama over last Xmas period & have loved it. It's hard to pigeon hole the show. It's mostly comedy, but with moments of heartfelt drama and action in equal parts.

Some people say that the first 60 episodes of Gintama are quite slow, but I found they lol funny. Gintama should be labelled as a seinen show, it's much more adult themed than most shounen shows (ie there's smoking, drinking, the characters visit bars, brothels etc). From looking at the shows you like I'd say give Gintama a go, watch the first 10-20 episodes to get a feel for the show and see what you think. You've probably got the time atm with all the virus stuff.

I see you've seen Nichijou, one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Well Gintama has moments of pure comedy that made me laugh harder than those scenes in Nichijou.

Yeah I would definitely recommend watching at least the first 3 episodes before dropping if you're not enjoying it because it really starts to pick up after that. I saw that you've seen Little Witch Academia, and that was on my list for a while before I decided to drop it. Would you recommend it?

It's got a kinda cringy little sister thing in it, but if you can get past that in the first episode it is SUPER funny! The animation and art style are pretty good too, and there are some very well done epic sequences. Just be warned that it has some ecchi moments. I would recommend it overall though!
