I've seen Nanoha. It didn't really pick up steam until StrikerS but even before then I liked the magibabble stuff and the rivalry with Fate.

Nice Magical Canan review. I remember when I first watched it, I thought it was one of the worst anime I had seen at that point (about 3 years ago). I remember thinking it was a weird, perverted version of Princess Tutu. The mascot being the love interest was cool but none of the plot twists at the end mattered because the show was so slow and had zero buildup. The episode where they visit Akihabara was just stupid, for example.
