Luck was a servant and not a master. Luck had to be accepted with a shrug or taken advantage of up to the hilt. But it had to be understood and recognized for what it was and not confused with a faulty appreciation of the odds, for, at gambling, the deadly sin is to mistake bad play for bad luck. And luck in all its moods had to be loved and not feared.
I was reading some of the reviews for Bakemonogatari and I noticed that you have written some very enlightening reviews for it and a few other select anime, in particular I enjoyed your review of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I thought it to be very helpful and explanatory of the series and I will certainly add it onto my list of future anime to watch.
Also, I was wondering if you could kindly look at my review of Bakemonogatari and perhaps discuss what you think of it.
Yeah, I imagine people who are really into law and philosophy will really like this anime. So it'll be nice that when it gets popular it will spawn intelligent discussion about such topics as game theory, the right to kill, and public perception of justice.
Oh you should watch DeathNote. It's an super-dark psychological thriller! This supersmart kid gets this notebook, that can kill people!! And he gets this crazy giant death god, but it's called shinigami in japan X_X. Anyways, it's like this supercool battle of mnds and thers evn this super Kwasi girl called Misa*Misa*, ven though she is a bit ditzu @_@
Try looking it up on MAL, it might be hard to find a stream cause it's pretty obscure
(No but seriously, I'd recommend the "Paprika" it's a great psychological/surreal movie. )
