Hey! I’m glad to hear that :)

I hope you’ll have a great read and that you’ll enjoy it.
Funny timing, since I had just finished reading the manga and thought it was a pretty niche but nice recommendation. So it’s cool that it matches your tastes so well.

Enjoy your reading!

Heya heyo, no worries, that's great to hear and I agree :)!
I was scrolling through your manga list and it was fun to read your scribbles (as do I with my experiences haha).

As for the term, it officially is "poeta doctus" in Latin, meaning a skilled and learned poet or scholar, who wove diverse information into their stories for the readers to learn from (poeta, male, poet, via Greek; doctus, past participle = adjective (in male form) out of the verb docere, to teach/show). This can be extrapolated from originally Roman writers to writers of any medium, as long as they don't intentionally create false info, and bring various concepts into their work even if only slightly touching it. I have studied 6 years in high school with Latin texts and culture and I'll be forever looking back to it with a majority of happy and satisfied memories.
I didn't want to correct you in a rude manner. I did think it'd be a disservice to knowingly let you memorize the wrong term 🫡.

Anyway have a great day!

Hi Merra! I don't know what language to write this in, but I assume you speak English.

I really appreciate your recommendations! From the two manga you recommended I was able to read “All you need is kill”. I honestly didn't know this manga although I really like Obata's works, my favorite is Bakuman! I recommend it in case you haven't read it (in fact I had no idea about the movie either hahaha).

I found the concept of the manga quite fascinating, about reliving the same thing and learning from mistakes and the ease with which they apply it in the plot despite having very few chapters. The ending I didn't expect, but it was a great closure, even though I was sad about what happened.

Thanks again and I hope you have a great year! Best regards
It’s time to ditch the text file.
