Because Monogatari's dialogue is well written and means and meaningful whereas re:zero's is mind-numbing. Also, my favourites list isn't in order

Yep, that's exactly how I feel. Maybe the plot and characters will get better down the line, but they were definitely pretty weak in this season. It's definitely not at the level of say something like Re:Zero!
