What about other monotheisms? I hope that you do not consider them as fake. Obviously, I would have issues if someone told me that they still believed in Greek or Egyptian gods. Otherwise, if someone believes in a polytheism that is still alive, I would not be really surprised, especially if they had been raised in this religion. I find polytheism extremely lacking from the metaphysical viewpoint, and if you think a little, those gods are no different than demons, or kami in Japan. It would make more sense if the other gods were considered as ministers of the unique God (provided that there is one in the given religion), and not be granted similar names. But it might just be an issue of terminology.
'Tis amusing that you used Rosario instead of Rosaria. Well, I am hopefully done with this living contradiction who begged me to stop quoting him... Truth be told, people like him make up for the most of Christians, and I do not believe that anyone in my family was a real believer including myself. Léon Bloy was trying to picture where other Christians were, and I am imagining a very sparse map of the world. To start with, no one can be sure that he will be saved, and this is beyond absurd that someone pretends to know-it-all and keeps condemning others to the flames of Hell whilst he himself commits the exact same sins...
A fellow 96er? Cool cool. I will assume that your childhood was as awesome as mine then! I don't mind chatting with kids on the forums. I'd rather not have them as friends though. We're in different phases of life, and that's my preference. That a good enough reason?
Very lenient I'd say. The picture isn't really all that cool to me, but you seem like an ok person. Can I ask if you're a minor or not? I'm not too keen on having discussions with children here.
I wasn't planning on adding friends until I finished my profile though. Based on your profile picture, I'm not sure we'd really get along. You must be really bored. What about chatting with your friends?
