Ooooh, you have no idea how many recap stuff are on my list. I'm not very enthusiastic about them, but the completionist in me gotta watch them all :( I guess it's also about the challenge of actually finding them <.<

I'm not sure why I started reading it either. The main character at the beginning is a whiny little asshole and the amount of boobs was disturbing. (Probably continued to read it because Kato is so awesome.) But the more you read the better it gets, and with a manga that long that's really saying something. I think you should give it a try, or at least watch the anime to decide if you're interested or not. (Though the anime is not nearly as cool as the manga, and the best arc doesn't even start in the anime, so the way it ends is meh.) But you'd h=get an idea about what the first part of the manga is like.
