Late Merry Christmas and happy new years! Well, Christmas was nearly a month ago but anyway XD
Damn, that's a long time for food coma XD I've started to visit this one chinese restaurant for food pickup and I think it has soba noodles as an option. I should try it sometime since so far I have chosen rice or rice noodles.
Thank god reincarnation Isekais have started to stop but the current season doesn't really offer much for me anyway XD I think I have only The Holy Grail of Eris and Chained Soldier Season 2 to watch. And about time we get more Tanya, it's been forever XD And since they killed off Rebecca in Edgerunners I don't have much faith for season 2 since she was my favorite character XD
Look at me complaining about ZZZ in previous post and I have actually picked it up again XD There is so much story to catch up, new characters and side content so it feels like there is stuff to do right now. The powercreep is real though. I pulled Ye Shunguang and built the supporting free bunny girl and she is nuts XD
Beyond Citadel was pretty cool boomer-shooter. The dev is into gore and guts since characters blow into pieces and even your character death in first person XD There was an option for simplified weapon handling which I used. It was hard enough on harder difficulty, didn't need my weapon constantly jamming to make it worse XD
Oh man I just got hungry you talking about soba noodles, now I wanna go order some noodle meal XD I'm not a fan of sushi, or cold foods in general. I would have found something else than cool me down than sushi XD
Hahh I feel you. I hope the reincarnation thing gets replaced of something else soon and also get more cool shows like Spy x Family. I'm even thinking of starting to watch something on my backlog which I do almost never XD
I remember seeing Oni game's cover but I never played it myself back in the day. Ghost in the Shell is also something I haven't seen.
I might also replay Cyberpunk 2077 at some point but it's like 100+ hours so not anytime soon. And knowing there is no happy-go-lucky ending to see it's sad XD
Yeah I also think ZZZ animations and character designs are peak, but the game loop gets boring fast when you lack proper goals to grind for than aimlessly farming materials for next gacha character.
I have been playing Where Winds Meet quite a bit and joined a guild with my friend who also plays it and even doing a raid last weekend. The game is quite complex and overwhelming in the beginning but it's quite enjoyable MMO that you can play solo for the most part. There are some weird mechanics like your character breaking bones or getting infected by rats or something and then you might need another actual player to heal you, even if you play solo. When I need healing I bug my friend on Discord to come heal me XD
What bugs me about Expedition 33 is the combat parry system. When the difficulty in turn based RPG comes from timing parries it feels wrong to me. Like you parry everything = easy, you fail at parrying = hard. It might feel better when actually playing it, but I feel like the difficulty should come from strategy and number crunching instead of QTE's.
Welcomes back ^^
Well, it wasn't the first time you took your time replying so it wasn't that bad I started to wonder yet XD
Cool! Sounds like a lot of fun, I will need to one day visit Japan as well and explore. To visit maid cafes and stuff XD
Don't they have noodles too so you would not live on only rice meals XD Damn, that elevator thing sounds so weird indeed. Taking random elevators would probably feel like going to some mafia hideout to me XD And yeah, them cooking at front of you must feel homely indeed ^^
Well, I think this season is ass XD I'm only watching previous season Gachiakuta and this season Spy x Family. I gave try to couple shows but they felt meh. But that's fine, at least I've had more time to play games haha. Have you picked any shows by now?
Welcome to the club XD I haven't picked ZZZ up again since I dropped it the 2nd time. I also have Trigger but if I remember right she is just a support that is barely on the field. I got the umbrella girl too before I dropped the game. There has been big updates since but no interest to return since I have already dropped it twice to the gameplay loop that gets tiresome after some time.
I know right, me too. But I did manage to play all 100 endings on Hundred Line which was exception XD
In few days I'm gonna give a try to some chinese open world action game Where Winds Meet. It's F2P and there isn't that much for me to play right now so I give it a try as my friend has been talking about it alot.
I wish I had your memory since I don't remember much of the shows I consume XD I still enjoy them a lots but not many shows leave long lasting memories. But I'm the opposite with games. I got Persona 5 on PC that I haven't played and would like to sometime, but I think the game is still in too fresh memory I don't wanna start a 150h game when I remember the story too well XD
Damn XD Sounds like another adventure/isekai slop. Another gimmicky show where MC is turbo overpowered (or weak but still OP), no thank you XD But I think these days there are really good shows too even there is also more slop.
Trigger's ass won you over XD I think that problem is also with S-ranks. I usually pulled every or every 2nd rate up character and maxed them almost instantly. Between banners I farm random materials for a month and then use them instantly when I pull a new character. It was kinda boring progression wise to grind mats daily aimlessly and most content didn't need the new characters anyway, and weeklies started to feel like a chore.
Damn XD Have fun in Japan ^^ Or did you visit it already at this point, but anyway XD
I really like Call of the Night, especially the 2nd season is so damn pretty. Almost every shot feels cinematic or visually very nice to look at. Exceptionally nice art like that probably took a bigger budget but I would love to see it in more shows.
Also I sinned and preordered the new Silent Hill f. I'm going pretty much blind since I haven't watched any early reviews but I hope it's good.
*Update* I Finished f and it wasn't very good XD I finished it only once but you need to apparently play it 4 times to finish the story but I cannot be arsed to do that due to the combat and the story also being uninteresting to me as well.
I think I used the same party except Haru instead of Makoto. Almost everyone seems to love Makoto but I think she was my least favorite of the female cast. The serious big sis archetype XD
Damn XD I haven't turbo binged shows in a long time, but doing that during a holiday one night could be fun. I don't remember what happened in Hiori Bocchi but I rated it as 10/10 when it aired so apparently I liked it a lot XD I used to give 10s to shows very easily tho, lol. Bochi the Rock was peak too. Watamote I watched long time ago and I also don't really remember what happened to it, but I rated it 8/10 so I apparently liked it also XD
Yeah same, one game at a time works the best. My game backlog is at least relatively small so it's not an endless sea XD
Yeah I have gotten kinda bored of endless isekai or fantasy slop with random gimmick XD Quality ones like Frieren are still a joy to watch though.
I checked Mikadono sisters trailer and it seems alright, maybe I give it a go if I find the time this season. I'm currently watching only two shows and have Gachiakuta on my list to give a try soon, probably today. I think Call of the Night 2 is peak of this season, but I'm only watching that and Dress up darling so far so it doesn't say much XD
I beat Persona 5 without much swapping characters since Joker is so versatile character. I think I stopped swapping completely after 2nd palace. Swapping would have made it easier but I just wanted to use my favorite characters XD I still remember the character personalities well since there is so much dialogue between the palaces.
Oh yeah I actually mentioned ninkoro previously, although the full english name. But yeah it's great XD Peak of last season. Damn, that was some latenight animu watching XD
Yeah it was surprising how they just kill off the characters so fast. There was a lil bit more of them at the end, but still. Maybe there is gonna be 2nd season and they will be back. Definitely too well designed characters to be 10 second throwaway fodder. Would be nice if there would be something as funny airing in current season that I haven't properly even checked yet.
I have stopped buying games before I play them, for the most part. I'm a bit same at the moment, like I'm not burnt out of gaming in general but I have been playing Hundred Line for 3 months now and it's a visual novel XD 96 endings cleared and one route remaining which is half way done, so I expect to finally finish the game next week. I haven't even started to watch the airing shows since I just wanna finish Hundred Line. After that I catch up with animu before I start Stellar Blade or other games.
Well, I haven't been super active here either but sounds like you are having good time with Victoria 3 XD
Great, just my luck to pick the worst weapons XD
I didn't like that much of SMT5 and yeah Metaphor is quite different. I think the story (which barely existed) was really bad in SMT5 and how the goofy class mate became the edgy villain XD The game was all about collecting and leveling demons instead of story, meanwhile in Metaphor and Persona the story is in bigger role.
I think Metaphor combat is okay although I'm not a fan of the class system that much, when characters are just skins and only thing unique to them are base stats thus different characters fits certain roles better. And no, I haven't played Fables. All I know those games have a fart button XD
Yeah! Usually when anime has 3D it's very clear and kinda jarring in a way, but not here.
This season has been quite mid outside Rock is a Lady's modesty. I have managed to keep average job being up to date at least XD
Thanks, I am ^^
Well I was planning to start Stellar Blade but Hundred Line is so insanely massive game I'm still nowhere near finishing it, so I'm playing a 150 hour visual novel instead XD
I actually forgot the whole weapon swap thing XD And when I did I think I just used 2nd dual blade weapons anyway that had different stats. I'm kinda of a guy that picks one thing or character and tries to master it, but if it doesn't work too well it can be like beating head against a wall XD
Yeah I can see following a guide in a game that has a lot of choice how to progress. You basically take the thought and planning away with that. I did follow a guide with best bond points during social events as I think it's just waste to pick not best option.
True, Microsoft can manage to kill the hype on their own XD
Yeah! I also think Rock is a Lady's modesty is very well built show overall. Everything just feels really good watching it and other shows this season doesn't feel as peak. And yeah the 3D CGI is well done and doesn't feel like those scenes are cheap.
Please Put Them On, Takamine-san in the other hand is a show I'm considering dropping after 5 episodes. It's like Aliexpress version of Nagatoro and the plot is kinda ridiculous and boring. Even as a man of culture I struggle to stay interested XD It's such a contrast in interest level compared to Rock is a Lady's modesty.
My summer holidays starts next week! Maybe I manage to watch couple or at least one anime on my plan to watch list during that time XD
Damn XD
I think it is difficult enough as is, or I just suck XD I feel like I'm constanly put on potion heal loop even I call AI reinforcements. Not being able to animation cancel doesn't make the game very flowy for my tastes.
Ah, I also love the Dangan artstyle. Even some characters resemble somewhat characters from other games due to the artstyle I think they still looks different enough so it doesn't look too much control C control V XD In Hundred Line the time management plays quite big part on first route but then it becomes less relevant and there are long segments it doesn't even let you use it. And Royal is still my favourite game! I need to replay it too sometime. Just not so easy to find 150 hours to throw at it just like that XD
Oh I have seen streamers play Schadule 1. Not my type, but it sure looks like goofy ass game XD It got super popular too.
I was considering getting new Doom, but it kinda looks worse than Eternal so if I want to play Doom I probably just play Eternal instead. Are you gonna buy the new Doom?
Rock is a lady's modesty is peak, I rated it 10/10 XD I love the artstyle and the waifus and it has some great humor too indeed.
What show you mean a girl really like her dog, do you mean the dog isekai thing? XD
Ah, well gotta say the Ninja and Assassin show is pretty random too and it's awesome XD Maybe I manage to give Witch Watch a try. I have managed to catch up quite well for now. Although Hundred Line probably keeps me busy for a good while still, until Stellar Blade is out.
Well, I'm not so much faster responding so we are pretty much even XD
Have you been still playing MonHun nearly month later? I pretty much dropped the game after finishing the story... and the story was indeed ass and I hated the kid XD They game didn't manage to hook me at all into any endgame gear grind, I rather just move on to other games. Currently Dangan devs latest game Hundred Line, and I like it a lot! It copied Persona time management system, so now it's like Persona and Dangan combined XD And the tactical combat is fun, better than P5 Tactica.
Yeah, probably it's the ass jiggles that melts my GPU XD
Well, sometimes time goes by fast XD I have started some and dropped some, but my favorites are so far are Rock Is a Lady's Modesty and A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof. I love both of these shows, rock one is girl band with intense waifus and the ninja one is really funny. I also really like both shows art and they got some fanservice shots time to time XD Then Mono and Zatsu Tabi are pretty nice too. And as a man of culture, I also have Please Put Them On, Takamine-san on my list XD
I don't think I gave Witch Watch a try, I felt booked enough with 5 shows but did you give it a try, holding up to manga?
Well, I don't think CR can get much worse at this point so Sony probably can't do any damage XD
Yeah some reforming in gaming companies would actually do good. Big companies just making huge budget games that ends up failing or performing badly. It must be hell to be developer in a big company and try to coordinate with oversized teams and then have all kinds of consultants making sure female characters tits aren't too big XD I'm not really a fan of open world games either with a gorillion marks on the map for you to clear but is essentially fodder content.
Holy shit, that is pretty funny XD But for some reason ZZZ is heating my PC more than Wilds, so I don't know is Mihoyo mining crypto with my PC when I play XD
I think the story is kinda ass in Wilds though. The kid in the party is annoying I don't give a shit any of the characters and wouldn't care if they died in a cutscene or something. Except for the blonde blacksmith girl, because she is hot XD
Yeah, I'm currently in the slump of not managing watch anything in last 3 weeks or so XD Well, that just happens to me naturally I sometimes watch 3 episodes of a show in the row, because I have failed to catch up so I need to marathon a bit XD I usually rely on MAL currently watching list to keep up with shows so I usually remember to continue watching. Although currently it is a bit bloated with shows I haven't started watching... in years XD
I think going from 3090 to 4090 was a good improvement on 4K. 5090 boost is rather weak but I suppose I could consider it when in stock depending how much I can still sell 4090 for. If I could sell 4090 nearly the price I paid for it due to shortages, then 5090 wouldn't be that bad purchase. But I would need to win F5 webstore battle against all other nerds who are smashing the button everytime there is new stock of 5090 cards XD
Update: Aaaaand... I now have 5090 XD Overall I'm happy to the native 4K performance and this 240hz OLED gets to shine more with higher frames so gaming is smoother. At least Trails is running 100+ fps and above, most of the time XD
Yeah it's great that small dev teams can make great fun games these days. Really shows the massive teams aren't always an asset when big games performs poorly playercount wise.
Well, I have just been playing the new Monhun and it's a bit rough XD DLSS doesn't work properly with nvidia cards and performance without it isn't that good. I have never played Monhuns before and the game seems pretty fun after playing for two days, but I wonder will my interest fade soon once I'm done with the story. Usually I feel done once I finish the story in games, but here the story is mostly the tutorial I suppose.
I haven't followed Civ 7 at all, but that's funny if it has been another shitshow with release issues XD
Oh my god, I just realized I have watched first epp of I May Be a Guild Receptionist -show and then totally forgot about it XD I fail to keep up even with 4 shows I watch this season, I'm a disgrace XD Well, I like tomboy Caesar but I wouldn't mind if she was angry one instead XD
Ahh, I see ^^ That one I don't have on my list. From Bureaucrat to Villainess is probably my favourite of the season, old man gets isekaid into a videogame as anime waifu XD
Yeah I just decided to give up trying to get 5090. Thanks nvidia for not having stock so I can come into my senses and skip one generation for small performance gains XD
AMD cards are likely way better value this time. I think there are some videos out of them now but I haven't watched them. Kinda lost my interest about whole GPU generation XD I will upgrade next generation when I get more bang for my buck.
Understandable, gives a better feeling kicking the monsters ass when you get back stronger XD
Weeeellll, about that nothing bad happens... XD It's quite impressive how big MiSide got since it's been made by just two guys. Makes me feel like I should learn coding and make anime game XD
What a time to be alive, big companies acts like they hate money XD Oh, that's surprising show to have on CR but kinda hard to enjoy the fanservice when it's censored. Assuming other sites got the uncensored version which makes CR version kinda irrelevant. But maybe there is a little but of hope left for Sony XD
Great XD The show is pretty good and yeah it's probably better this way than them hating each other for nearly whole season XD
I didn't start Beheneko, I think I thought even the name "The Elf-Girl's Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster!" sounds such a throwaway fantasy/isekai I was like not another one XD But I like creepy girls so... maybe I should give it a try XD
I also tried buying new Nvidia GPU but it was such a paper launch with 0 stock, so I have pretty much given up and reconsidering do I wanna spend 3K euros into a card that gives me like 20% more frames XD
So much for Metaphor XD And nice, I haven't heard of it but looks pretty decent game. Well as long as the game does warn you you are wandering in the place that will fuck you up XD Like in some JRPGs they put some roaming end game optinal boss in starter zone and then you don't notice it and you get steamrolled XD
Speaking of indie games have you played MiSide, the anime dating/horror game that was released some weeks ago? Total peak anime gaming XD
Oh man, if Sony touches Kadokawa's distribution it's over XD Yeah sony is quite censor heavy these days and they having any impact on production won't make anything better, only worse. And then it makes you paranoid because you can't know is a show toned down because of Sony or not. I hate how it has turned upside down like a decade or two you were excited of what Sony or some other big companies are cooking, and now you are praying they don't touch your loved franchises XD
No I haven't seen Dungeon Meshi, that one didn't register to me but looks like it is highly rated, probably something that I could give a try too. If I find the time XD And for this season I have started to watch I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class and Headhunted to Another World and both seems pretty good. I expected Headhunted to Another World being seasonal trash isekai, which it is I suppose XD, but still hooks me enough to keep watching.
Thanks! This year has started well, and hopefully for you as well ^^
After getting into the final story dungeon NOW the game starts giving me exp at decent rate and I start having fun with the class system! And still some of my party members are seriously lacking with unlocked classes and skills XD There are 3 optional difficult dungeons that you can do after, but the bosses are pure pain. They have 3 turns and uses a skill to gain 7 additional turn so you can go AFK when they are doing their turns XD I'm so close to the end I probably just skip the optional bosses and just go for the final boss. At least I think it's the final boss, but Persona style I don't know if the game actually continues.
Yeah, Metaphor is pretty heavy game and requires some time investment especially the beginning is slow as sloth taking a shit. Not that its bad, I think it's fine for story building but it is slow. And nice ^^ I bought Path of Exile 2 early access and the game is really good, also works in short and long sessions.
Hmm, no, I don't think I have heard about that.
True, I always try to give B-tier shows a chance when picking my seasonal shows to watch. As long as the synopsis and genre tags are something that I like, or there is a waifu with big milkers on the cover XD
Yeah it can be a hit or miss with popular shows too XD I think there are plenty of popular shows that I'm not a fan of like Dandadan, but sometimes like with Frieren I think it was super good. But I do tend to give most hyped shows a chance, since it always nice to keep up with the most talked about shows.
Oh god, I can't deal with C-tier isekais anymore and they are everywhere with some stupid gimmic XD Now that I got addicted to PoE 2 and rather watch quality anime or play the game, my tolerance for trash anime just dropped XD
Well the new characters are way more compled so they need the longer explanations XD I don't even remember all the mechanics Burnice has, I just hold square to spin and then use dual flamethrowers and switch to Yanagi XD

Ah, well gotta say the Ninja and Assassin show is pretty random too and it's awesome XD Maybe I manage to give Witch Watch a try. I have managed to catch up quite well for now. Although Hundred Line probably keeps me busy for a good while still, until Stellar Blade is out.
Thanks! This year has started well, and hopefully for you as well ^^
Yeah, Metaphor is pretty heavy game and requires some time investment especially the beginning is slow as sloth taking a shit.
