That's true, some familiar users aren't here anymore. Even in the Doggos server (Discord server for MAL FG players) some people were saying FG was dead.
"gratz on getting together with 3mil." why does that line sound funny 😂 We only started talking this January even though I did post some Sesshoumaru pics on his wall for Deny or Comply thread last September. He even mentioned me to write a bio for my profile when I didn't bother with that until this year and recommended me Tokusatsu shows. Anime nowadays isn't really grabbing my attention either, idk what it is about them but maybe they're just too bright/moe or generic for me. I don't feel as excited about anime as much compared to when I was younger. The last ones I were addicted to were Haikyuu seasons 1-3 and Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin? even One Piece is starting to bore me around 600+ eps.

The weird thing is I ended up adding IpreferEcchi too this year besides 3miL even though I wanted to add them long ago 'cause I was always laughing at their sex jokes here but I was put off by his no random FRs rule.. IPE even said he wanted to add me before but didn't, we both had a mutual feeling of wanting others to send us FRs first.
They both added me on Discord too even though I'm more of a lurker but I do chat a lot with people who actually talk to me. I only started talking to 3miL because of some girl I knew for 2 years on Mydramalist but finally spoke up about her on its Official Spam Thread pages 70-75 last December for using alts/spamming the forums everywhere for attention and being rude to other people (there's FGs there too but more serious/quiet)
He was the first to post in my FG here about her so that got me talking to him. I ranted everything to him about it and it turns out he also interacted with her before - he unfriended her after she deleted his greetings on her wall 😂

- I ended up messaging to more than a dozen users on that site too because of this situation for a few months, barely anything happened to her and she's still hanging around with new accounts but the only good thing was getting to gossip about her and I found my other MDL buddy there who discovered my entire discussion too late but ended up talking to the most out of everyone (I'd say around 680 comments in a com-to-com if I convert the inbox pages to here) he kept nudging me to use Discord too since he prefers that over the inbox and has been on Discord everyday since 2016. Everyone else moved on from the situation already obviously but there's a few nice guys left to chat with privately, lately I keep talking to guys more despite that site being more geared towards girls 'cause of dramas/romance... it's funny how we were all connected because of this one user (we call her "M" as a nickname since she's always changing her names/pics but the URL stays the same compared to MAL)

Anyways thanks, hope you'll also be on MAL too. I'll be on this site for as long as I can since I enjoy the FGs here and I grew up using these old forums.

Yesss spice and wolf was so fun to watch!!! my favorites id say are based around my love for when i am able to learn something from a a character. most of my favs i consider to be products of their environment, im also reallllyy into criminology, so finding the correlation between their background and then their actions/personality really interest me a lot; ex- esdeath, shiro, lucy, shouya.

The way youre able to identify something negative then correlate it with something positive and reflect is a super respectable trait <3!!!! You seem like a really reliable person

I always found goblin slayer to be different kind of entertainment for me, especially since its questionable and made me think about my own values but also because it revolved around eliminating monsters deemed to be ‘inconsequential’ rather than saving the world or the Slayer being a savior. I used to wonder the direction they were going with Goblin Slayers character cause on his surface level he seemed like a brick wall, i didnt see many people favoriting him but your explanation makes a lot of sense :))

i agree so much, i think a lot can be said with little words. i struggled picking a quote but i decided on one that could benefit others reading it as well. I apply this one so much in my own life, i found that the reason i struggled so much with my emotions was because i internalized rejection and disappointment so much that it got in the way of me making any growth or progressing. if you dwell on something negative it festers, i’m still trying to get comfortable with accepting failure and evaluating my expectations; it seems very simple but this quote helps me a lot :)
