How I rate my animes.

In general I stay away from animes which I assume I won't like, therefore I don't give a lot of animes a negative rating. I'm quite selective with picking an anime to watch. This may cause it to look like I rate everything quite high, but as you can see, there's a reason for it.


-10: A favorite. An anime I enjoyed so immensely I was able to see past its few flaws.

-9: Really good, but it had some minor issues that caused it to fall short of being amazing.

-8: Some stuff here and there which bugged me but not enough to ruin the experience. A good watch.

-7: Enough issues in it to distract me from the experience, but the good still outweighs the bad

-6: I'm doubting whether I should keep watching this or not. It's unable to keep me interested in it. Barely sufficient.

-5: I can see why others might like it, but it's really not my thing. I most likely won't finish this and if I do it's probably just for the sake of seeing some kind of conclusion

-4: If I keep watching or reading at all I'm most likely doing so while constantly being annoyed because of how bad it is, I probably won't finish anything from this rating and lower.

-3: Except for everything that went wrong, there were some incredibly minor things that were still at least somewhat likeable

-2: I'll have to look far and beyond to find any positives, but after looking and thinking I can find maybe a couple small things, thus barely rising above a 1

-1: No redeeming qualities at all, everything from story to characters to animation to art to music was horrible
