I look forward for both Kakugo and Gash Bell mangas, seems like both are very cool experiences. I'm enjoying the Gash Bell anime for now, It's really fun

I actually remember watching only seasons 1-4 of Digimon as a kid but in my teenage years I decided to give savers a shot and it surpassed all of them for me, It was really a great season. I have never seen a tamer like Masaru who punches Digimons along with his partner, It's badass. Bancho Leomon was really cool, I liked Mercurymon too, also it was stacked with royal knights, and my favorite demon lord as well, I honestly couldn't ask for a better Digimon experience.
Digimon was a huge part of my childhood and I felt like savers paid off, I wish they took this direction with more seasons, making the main cast older with more mature tone was the right decision.
Nice to see people who appreciates this season, I wish more people got into it.

fun fact, between the seasons 4 to 5 of Digimon they aired Gash Bell in Japan in the slot that Digimon aired

Hey thank you for accepting, I plan on checking out Kakugo no Susume manga soon, I see you have the main character in your favorites. Also I plan on getting into gash bell manga soon after I'm done with the anime, nice to see gash bell in someone's favorites, I feel like its been slept on by many.

Medarots looks really cool, I actually just started the TV series the other day! It’s craaazy well animated and I really like it so far. I’m only like five eps in but it’s great. I need to try out the games sometime too. As for 009, the 70s series sounds awesome. Takahashi stuff is usually really damn good I think so it should be a treat! I think I’ll try out the 00s series sometime soon. Your assumption is pretty on point, I would say ConRevo very much references tons of Ishinomori series to the point where there are too many references to count. I haven’t been wafching a lot of anime lately I guess, but I’m watching GITS SAC 2nd Gig and Saber Marionette JX. Both are very good so far, what about you? Been watching anything cool?

Survive was gonna be out this year originally right? IIRC it got delayed cause of Covid lmao, I'm glad you're liking Zegapain so far! Also about Sakura Wars I 100% recommend the new game. It's so good! If you think you will like it you definitely will. I actually haven't seen any 009 thing besides the Devilman crossover, any recommendations for 009?
Onmyouki looks awesome! I'm surprised I've never heard of this considering that it's Sunrise, let me know when you watch it I also want to know how it is. As for AGE, yeah I felt the same way it doesn't really deserve the hate it gets. I love the multiple generations concept but the show unfortunately suffers from the same issues as any other Gundam AU which is just being a very very condensed UC.
I think you would really like Ryu Knight tbh, get on that when you can. The OVAs are especially super good, the TV series is really good too but it's more sci-fi focused and falls off in the second half.

I need to get back to Digimon savers, it seems so cool! I’m still stuck with 02 haha, it’s fun but not as good as 01, so I’m taking a whule with watching it. Zegapain is awesome, I hope you like it as much as I do! It’s a little slow paced but really gets going after the main twist gets revealed. As for SRW, I’d love to see Goldran too! Easily one of my favorite braves. My other pick would be Dagwon just cuz the designs are so good. I’d also love to have more video games in SRW like Muv Luv or Sakura Wars. As far as individual shows go I’d want to see some sunrise classics like Vifam and Dougram the most. Argento’s OVA is just a side story but it was really nice to see an ep about Sue so I loved it. It’s good to strike a balance between super and real, I like both for different reasons too! Also Battle Spirits seems awesome, I saw like 10 eps of gekiha dan and loved it, really need to get back to that one. We also seem to have similar taste in shounen, while I haven’t finished it yet Cobra is GOD tier. Yeah, watching every mecha anime ever was a lot of fun, I still have a few shows left but besides a few boring series the ride was well worth it. As for shows I had no expectstions of but ended up loving... let’s just say literally all my favorites lmao. But besides the obvious ones like Soma, Platinumhugen Ordian is an insane show and really underrated. While the subs are horrible and it’s not a consistent show by any means, the animation is so good and it’s just such a ride, damn near every line of dialogue in the second half is a new plot point reveal. Acrobunch is another one, it looks really basic but it’s insanely good, it’s basically about a family visiting sites where ancient legends all over the world happened (actually based on real life ones too!) in search of the legendary spirit Quetzlacoatl. NG Knight Lamune (the entire franchise) is also way better than I expected to be, the video game setting is hilarious and it has a lot of emotional moments especislly in FIRE. Definitely recommend that one if you like stories about family legends soanning multiple generations.

YOOOO ANOTHER WEBDIVER FAN!! While it's low-budget as hell Webdiver is very dear to my heart because I love the lore in it (Deletloss and Gladion's past is awesome) and the virtual reality is so cool. Webdiver is amazing to me because it's the exact type of show where I'm like "if I saw this as a kid I would love it so much". The mecha designs and music is awesome, and Kento is also pretty cool for your typical child protagonist in mecha. My favorite type of male character in anime is one who sticks to his beliefs and his ideals no matter what, Kento is your very typical "justice over all" type character but I really appreciated how he stuck to everything he said in the show itself, it's not often that you get a child character that isn't really afraid of fighting and sticks to his guts no matter what. His relationship with Gladion was also fantastic.

As for a revival, SSSS Gridman and Zegapain are the closest we will get to a new Webdiver probably haha, I think at this point it getting into SRW would be cooler. Still! It's not impossible as Tomokazu Sugita LOVES Webdiver and talks about it in nearly all of his streams, on top of that the series is weirdly popular still in Japan. It seems that a lot of kids in the early 00s grew up with it and still have nostalgia for it. If you check mandarake you can see that the DVDs of the series goes for 1200 dollars. 1200 freaking dollars!!!! Which is crazy expensive for a show like this, not to mention for some model kit poll that GoodSmile made, Gladion came in the top 10. Hiroshi Negishi, the director of Webdiver also loves referencing his previous shows so I'd say it's possible.

I see you finished Argento Soma, what did you think of the ending? I've seen the show twice now and the foreshadowing in the beginning is really crazy, there is a lot of symbolism about "rings" that don't really make sense till a second watch. Did you see the stuff with Mr X. coming? Or the ED of the show summarizing the entire thing? If there's one show I didn't expect to be all over it's Argento Soma, the show has so many layers to it that it is insane. The resolution Takuto and Frank got at the end made me cry when I first saw it. Don't forget to watch the OVA special too, it's a really nice send-off to the show.

As for the amount of mecha I've seen, yeah. It has sort of been a personal mission of mine to watch every mecha anime ever (and I've been following it for the past five years). I have like 30 something shows left, I'm pretty sad to be done with it all to be honest but the ride was well worth it (besides a few stinkers, which is to be expected.) There aren't really any shows that I regret watching when it comes to mecha.
