I was actually about to ask if you’ve seen the X-Men trailer. Cyclops looks really good in it 😅 It genuinely feels like it’s going to be a great movie, just look at the lineup of characters. It’s honestly a gold-tier cast.

Oh, you’re near the end already? I still regret not finishing all the side missions in RDR2. I always thought I’d go back to them, but now I can’t because a friend took my PS4 disc and I’ve switched to a digital PS5 😂 If I want to play again, I’d have to buy it all over, and I really don’t feel like doing that.

And yeah, obviously the graphics won’t match RDR2 since RDR1 came out years earlier 😛 but the vibe is still the same, and it’s genuinely fun to play.

You’re right though, once you get married and have kids, things really change. That “me time” almost disappears, and raising a child definitely isn’t easy at all. I noticed you dodged my question haha.

As long as you’re happy, that’s what really matters 🙂

I don't remember much about the anime anymore 😅 Maybe it really had a different vibe than the manga. The manga even has dark moments, so it's better xD.
I hope the break from watching will be refreshing for you! Haha, I just like being consistent xD. And I simply can't imagine a day without anime lol

Exactly! I've heard a lot of negative reviews about The Witcher on Netflix. People here prefer the older Polish Witcher tv series (even though it's supposedly different from the original too but has a better cast). You're right, fans are overly critical. It would be better for many things if fans paid attention to the source material rather than judging it through the game, because that's so stupid!

That's true! Oh man, the thing about names of great figures is so confusing. Here, too, we don't call him King Charles, but King Karol (the Polish equivalent). It makes no sense, really, because it's like changing a name, regardless of the equivalent in another language, and it's theoretically the same, but it's still weird. It's the same with many writers, for example, where they have Polonized names O.O

Exactly! I hope this atr doesn't scare me away, but I'm really curious about this manga, so maybe I can tolerate it xD. I was surprised that there were several of these mangas. I thought there was only one, but there are probably three series with different volume counts. Sure, I'll let you know (I don't know when it will be xD)

I did a lot of extracurricular activities growing up, I'm used to this type of schedule. Back in high school when I was doing cheer, sometime we had morning practice at 6:30AM before school. My school was only 8 min away, so I would wake up at 5:30 and leave at 6.

Well I just changed it again, does that mean you’ll forget about me? (˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ ) But yes it was Hoshina before! I finally caught up to the manga this past week and well, all I’ll say is her character development is really good ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Well all I’ll say is Monogatari series is the closest thing I would consider to peak fiction but it’s also something I never recommend people due to how intellectually stimulating and weird it is so take that how you will ^^

I’m really glad they picked Yoshiwara arc over anything else. Yoshiwara arc is one of my favorites (which I guess isn’t saying much since all Gintama arcs are my favorite xD) and I feel like whenever people talk about Gintama, Yoshiwara is often overshadowed by Benizakura arc.

Dororo was alright overall, but I had 2 complaints. First, the plot is consistent to a fault; the story focuses more on the character dynamics between Dororo and Hyakkimaru, so the storyline doesn’t get any better, but it doesn’t get any worse either. Second, the ending is one of those open ended leave it up to interpretation type of endings, which I found super frustrating. Not sure if I can recommend it though since it can be a little grotesque :D there’s a lot of unsettling bloody scenes but it fits with the whole story
Shouwa Genroku…it would be unfair of me to share my opinions with you right now…to be honest the only reason I started watching Dororo is because I was feeling burnt out with Shouwa Genroku xD but I am slowly watching it and will definitely give better thoughts as I watch more ^^

Yeahhh Li Tianchen exactly xD I remember hating his character when he was first introduced, but like you said, his motivation was totally understandable
Thank you for letting me listen to the opening again (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) My favorite part of the mv is 0:18, where you can see all of Cheng Xiaoshi’s jumps in timelines, and how he starts to crumble, it’s so beautifully represented ^^ And out of all the villain introductions, my favorite has to be the 2nd one you shared. Im definitely biased since Xia Fei was one of my favorite characters, but I really like how they portrayed him as a normal character just living his day to day life, since he really is not an evil person ^^
Bridon Arc was definitely out of place!! But it’s one of those moments where the craziness works really well I think. I agree with what you said, so far we’ve really only seen these emotional moments with Cheng Xiaoshi where he tries to play the role of a hero, so when we see Lu Guang act the way he does around Vein, I felt very happy. Like yes it’s finally your time to shine, go Lu Guang!! xD
Ohh it’s nice that they have that page to show all the ciphers. Sometimes it feels unfair for us fans who don’t know how to read Chinese or ciphers xD
Actually I’d like to point out where you’re wrong (¬ ₃ ͡¬) 2 things in an interview with the author: the author pointed out that Wang Qing’s eyes turning blue was a result of her own abilities activating, not because Lu Guang possessed her. It’s confusing, but this was because Wang Qing’s eye color hadn’t been finalized. Another thing is that the author confirmed that Vein doesn’t have any abilities.
Every animation in Link Click has been very intentional so far, as Lu Guang was trying to stall Vein outside and then thought Vein had died, he seemed to relax. That scene where Lu Guang was orchestrating his hands, making it seem like he was the puppeteer behind everything is definitely not by accident. Since Vein doesn’t have any abilities, maybe Lu Guang was relieved because he thought it was all over and didn’t know about the heart thing.

Not necessarily. Gintama has set the standards for me when it comes to casting and character development, which is why I never settle for less :D Fmab is another good example of how you can have a well rounded anime ^^

It’s funny you pointed out how most boys’ first heroes are their fathers(or parents in general). It makes me laugh thinking Bakugo didn’t look up to his dad because All Might is stronger so maybe he’s a better role model to look up to xD

I think Naruto’s jealousy was more of an innocent “oh he gets all the girls I hate him” type of thing xD but he’s always been proud of Sasuke when they were in team 7, whereas Sasuke has been evidently jealous of Naruto’s progress. I’d also like to think the same for Deku, since in the beginning Deku was an easygoing person and didn’t believe much of himself
You’re probably right that they were friends before and stopped being friends after Bakugo got his quirk ^^ Yeah it would suck to have a friend like that :D

Okok so I am officially back in my manga era (my poor wallet 💔) and have been to the bookstore 3 times this past week :D and still no Pandora Hearts! It seems to me that they’re replacing a lot of the older series with the most recent seasonal animes like JJK, Frieren, and Dandadan. I thought I’d give Summer (Im just gonna call it Summer because why is the title so long :D) a try because the cover is really really nice, but it was disappointing :D

At this point Im just waiting for you to catch up to Kaoru Hana so we can talk more about it ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Yes, the Thor and Captain America trailers are out and they look amazing. Even without the trailers, this movie already has a lot of hype around it.

Yes, after GTA 6 they will probably work on RDR3. By the way, how is RDR2 treating you? I’ve decided to start RDR myself. I’ve never played it before and it feels amazing >//<

I'm also a light sleeper, so if I get woken up I can't go back to sleep anyway. I usually get up right away and put on my work out clothes and start my morning workout and then after I go shower, put my clothes on and do my make-up and hair. I don't usually eat breakfast because I'm not hungry early in the morning.

I have a very big family, like 100 something cousins, and those are just counting my first cousins. I wouldn't say my family are loud people, but when we are together it become chaos.

It is indeed very commercial. At least when it comes to movies and anime it seems genuine. I quite appreciate your ability to speak your mind, it's refreshing to see.

As you said, it was clear from the start. It was always going to be them. Love triangles can be a bit of a pain, it's true. I tend to find myself overly frustrated when they add someone else into the mix. It's all about the anticipation, I suppose. Although, there are some that are done tastefully and add to the actual story so I can't complain entirely. Are you planning on waiting for the second season or are you going to read more chapters? I would think you'd have a hard time waiting that long to find out, so my guess is you'll be reading ahead. Haha.

That's interesting. I watched Fukigen no Mononokean a few years ago and quite liked it, but the anime creators made a few changes. I prefer the manga; the plot gets interesting later on! ^^
Haha yeah it's quite possible that you're getting picky but that's normal because after a few years of watching you already know your taste and you know what you want from what you watch

Yeah, it's cool when the author has influence on the adaptation because then we know something from the original will be preserved lol. Oh man, I've heard a lot about The Witcher and the confusion surrounding it. It's still funny to me that some people still think the book was based on the game and not the other way around xD.
