Always growing
40% story 30% characters 20% art 10% variable lol Idk if that makes sense, but that's how I judge them.
By 40% story; was it well written, make sense, draw me in, was it to fast/slow paced, how was the ending etc..
By 30% characters; were the main characters unique in enough ways to differentiate between them, did you connect with them, did their back story or actions stir your emotions, were there to many or to few characters, etc..
By 20% art; not necessarily was it good, but did it match the story, did you feel it distracted or enhanced the show, were there scenes where the art pulled you into the show, etc..
By 10% variable it could mean a lot of things like did it stand out in a particular way, was it a unique story, did it surprise me (most shows or movies even not just, anime I can guess what's going to happen next), even the opening and closing sections can effect this, etc..

I have been only watching anime since 2015 and it has brought me A lot of joy and excitement. When I discovered there were thousands of shows I'd never seen before in a type of format I had almost no experience with, I was truly excited. Anime is truly magical. I have seen A TON of anime and I'd probably be a major Otaku if I had the money to buy merchandise. However, I'm a poor person living paycheck to paycheck so that won't happen. Lol.
