My top 15 anime:
1. Shikabane Hime: Love its buddhist vibes and Angela's songs, specially in battles. Sometimes, Makina's objectives seem hopeless, but she never gives up.
2. Seikon no Qwaser: Too funny and badass. Uses fanservice in a clever way. Love the fact that each adept masters a chemical element, so in some way it is like CardCaptor Sakura, but with chemical elements. Its relationship with orthodoxy is another thing that amazes me. Sasha definitely rocks with his scythe. It is like an anime about vampires 🧛, but the vampires suck milk instead of blood.
3. Akame ga Kill!: Fuck plot armor! Each mistake in battle means death. Akame and Esdeath, whose ice-based attacks I love ❄️, rock.
4. Shiki: Experience the life in rural Japan at its best.
5. Kill la Kill: Best plot twist ever. Uses fanservice in a clever way since the very plot deals with fashion and dressmaking.
6. Darker than Black: Another anime that never gives in to plot armor. Hei always defeats his enemies in a smart way. Great night atmosphere.
7. Soul Eater: Love its colorful art style and the fact that the characters visit different countries from our real world (Egypt, Italy...). Battles are fluid and amazing.
8. Mirai Nikki: "Yuki? Yuuuukiiiiiii!".
9. Tenkuu Shinpan: Love skyscrapers, so nothing can fail.
10. Kamisama Dolls: I like the way it mixes a realistic style with over-the-top battles and bizarre events.
11. Akudama Drive: It's cyberpunk and looks awesome, so yeah.
12. Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji: Really philosophical stuff. It raises interesting questions about life. Love the scene where several characters are walking on ropes and have to decide whether to push the others or to cooperate.
13. Cardcaptor Sakura: First anime I loved.
14. Death Note: I binged all thirty-seven episodes in a day and a half.
15. Shuumatsu no Walküre
