We share a high affinity and overall favorites, so let me say dropping Gintama is not wise. I too thought it was so long, and the episodic format made me not care for anything happening, but there are serious arcs, and overall it is worth your time. Maybe you dropped it for something completely unrelated to what I'm talking about, but I figured to stick my nose in your comments after seeing you from the stats page.
