I hope that you got a very interesting game this year. Either on your birthday or the holidays.
I hope to see more turn-based RPGs after Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Future turn-based RPGs with a tactical spin as well with a similar style to Twilight of the Spirits.
Yes, I'm reading this manga called Guyver which a friend recommended to me months ago.
I hope that the upcoming Suikoden adaptation will succeed so that Aki Shimizu's manga will also get an adaptation. I'm also surprised somewhat that you haven't read Suikoden 3 yet. The detailed Aki Shimizu adaptation, that is. More detailed plot than the last Suikoden game by Yoshitaka Murayama.
In the meantime, I'll be emulating Arc The Lad 2 once again.
I see, I see.
Is it true Bleach is just meh? Because I always see that it's divided amongst fans.
Too MUCH fillers, or I loved it.lol
How about Fairy Tail. Looking back now, you think the holds up well?
I really detest spoilers. I don't like seeing them posted without the proper tags. I make it known that whether it is a big or small spoiler, I don't want to hear about it!
Ahhh. That's what you meant. I feel ya on that one! XD
Mainly smaller community-ran tournaments. I spent a year in training with people I knew. Took awhile to get a spot on a team and register for the tournaments. We didn't win anything. I really wanted the experience though!
That's actually so sickkkkkk. Was it a mixture of both girls and guys in a team group? Or was it all girls in your group? :O
Deng. It really is the new thing these past few years.
I hear so many people play gacha games now. Honkai Star Rail or Genshin Impact to name some.
Yeah Evernight is so goated, I love her design, her dead eyes are really well done, they give that perfect 'I’ve seen things and don’t feel anything' vibe. I love it deeply.
On Wuthering Waves, besides Zani, two characters I really love are Phrolova, her writing + gameplay are super innovative and Galbrena, who’s coming on the next banner. She’s basically 'what if Dante and Bayonetta had a daughter with Nero’s style.' She’s got wings, a classy accent, and dual double-barrel shotguns. Absolute peak.
I’m interested in that anime you mentioned, I’ll probably watch it after Death Note. I don’t like mixing too many at once because I either get lost or lose hype (unless they’re airing). If you know a lighter anime to balance things out (if the vibe of the anime you recs is dark), I’d gladly take it something funny or wholesome.
As for emotional ones like Your Lie in April, Your Name, I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, I’m saving those to watch with my future girlfriend when I have one, I feel like it’d make core memories (what a romantic lmao).
I like those types of anime! Right now I’m watching Death Note for the first time (I know, super late lmao). I’m pretty open to everything, so don’t hesitate to recommend, I’ll let you know what I think ^^
Ayaka’s a good character, but I’d never pull for her lmao. I just prefer women like Esdeath, Arlecchino, Zani, etc...
Hope you found it!
What a coincidence, my sister watched Shinsekai Yori a few weeks ago, and it was so random and unexpected lol
I didn't tell her it was my favorite anime.
I do think that there have been a lot of good shows recently. You should check out some of them!
With Shinsekai Yori, it was really different. I loved it, but it was almost mad love. It resonated with me so much, and it was all I could ask for in anime. Some of my other favorite shows are from really different genres, but two shows that felt a little bit like Shinsekai Yori are The promised neverland and Heavenly Delusion.
The Promised Neverland also focuses on a group of children, very much like Shinsekai Yori. It has some really nice twists, and the foreboding really elevates the atmosphere. I also really liked the characters.
Heavenly Delusion is a bit darker and is set in an apocalyptic world. It has a bit more exploration and action, but some scenes really make it hard to stomach at times. There are also a lot of subtle hints, and a lot of things will suddenly click.
Yor Briar is from Spy x Family, I love her character design and the way she’s written. I actually forgot one of my top 5 female characters: Koko Hekmatyar from Jormungand (such an excellent anime).
Honestly, I’m open to anything when it comes to anime. Tell me what types you like/watch in general and I’ll let you know! Like I said, I’m still kinda a noob in anime lmao.
Yeah, I love Arlecchino the most — she’s literally pookie lmao. The other two I like about the same. My top 3 is Arlecchino > Esdeath > Yoru (mostly for the design since I haven’t read CSM yet). Honorable mention to Yor Briar and Zani from Wuwa ^^
No worries about the time of response, I totally get it! Do you have any anime recommendations?
Yeah. Same. People that are into big series like Gundam or One Piece as an example, I have a lot of respect.
Takes a lot time commitment and dedication to watch massive series.
What was the biggest show you've seen in anime? In terms of episode count?
Those model kits look tricky. Anyone who builds something from them, I am honestly impressed. Same for the Lego versions of stuff. It's all impressive!
I actually have one model kit that I own, just have not finished it yet. It's actually not that bad, once you get used to the instructions of it!
What does spoiler sensitive mean?
Other than that. I think it is super wonderful for people to give up their time for things they love. Most moderators don't get paid, and they are the ones that pay with their time. So I commend them for it.
Yeah. I have lots of respect for people who do it voluntarily.
I no longer play OW! Unfortunately, it took way too much out of me back in the day when I was doing more E-Sports.
What do you mean esports??? YOU WERE IN ONE?! :OOO
That's nice you still play video games from time-to-time. What games do you lean into now?
I actually have the translated pdf of the novel, did you try searching for it recently? It's usually on the first page of the search results. I totally agree! right after finishing it, my emotions were a mess and my whole world was just thinking about Shinsekai Yori. It really became my anime of all time and has remained so for the past 6 years.
The challenge stacks are indeed like mini challenges. They're created by the Mal staff and you're supposed to finish watching/reading at least one listing from the stack before the due date. Like, the summer stack challengers are: 'Spirit of Science' and 'Killer comedy'. There is usually plenty of time to complete the stack challenges!

Just reply whenever you're ready and able. :)
Hope you're all healthy these days and you fixed your computer issues by now!
Take care Soul! :)
And nice! You got the spirit of science badge!

I do not accept random friend requests without any kind of message.
Say hello, introduce yourself, tell me a random fact, write on my profile, or even tell me about an anime/manga that you've enjoyed recently.
Takes a lot time commitment and dedication to watch massive series.
