This is my jam! Welcome to my profile! Enjoy your stay and let's debate about why my opinion is better than yours!
Favorite Bleach volumes thus far: Vol.3, 13, 18 & 19
My Objective Ratings
Anything bellow 6 is solid proof that anime was a mistake. 6 itself has major flaws, but also some merit. 7 is for stuff I like. 8 is for stuff I really like. 9 is for stuff I consider near perfect, but can't bring myself to give a full 10.
Whatever I give a 10 to, it is objectively a masterpiece. Sorry, but that's them facts, Jack!
don't know how much that will make you tear up, but it has been recently announced that the unfortunate death of tomomichi nishimura (akuma/gouki before street fighter 4, George Saotome and mr takenaka, takahiro matsui from patlabor, jamitov hymen, yuichi tachibana, Toshiro tsubaki, katakura from ghost in the shell: stand alone complex 2nd GIG, kikuzou from samurai champloo, aldo from cyberpunk edgerunners, mitsuyoshi anzai, zengyo and alf from fist of the north star and that pigfacefrom some of the worst anime i regret ever knowing about (legit feel sorry for him and the rest of the voice cast involved in it)) happened out of nowhere.
another underrated good talent who died off that caught my expectations off, a sad shame.
you know what? that's pretty much where i can agree. don't know why the need to remove that thing, that's just tragic.
i don't know how unpopular this is, but i actually find the favorite track of mine i named you would might just be at my top 5 tracks in the whole franchise and that i also love it more than holy orders (which i love too, but magnolia has something special about it that makes me favor it wholly). surprised you don't have "haven't you got eyes in your head" (slayer) and "Writhe in pain" (Milla) in the list of your favorites, really love those 2 particularly.
now i don't know if you'd like that anime, but viper's creed is one of those animes i happened to like more than i hoped and it has such an awesome blonde chick who's absolute kickassery i can't get enough of. and should i show you how smoking-hot she looks in that particular bath scene? because i won't hesitate putting you a picture of her in that moment:
La prima parte mi è piaciuta un sacco soprattutto adoro lo stile di disegno di Fujimoto, per quanto riguarda la seconda parte ancora la devo iniziare lo farò magari quando sta quasi per finire, comunque volevo chiederti che ne pensi di ideon?ho finito il film qualche minuto fa è ho ancora i brividi al pensiero capolavoro.
i don't know how familiar you're with him, but will smith has for a while released a freestyle rap for some reason and.... let me just say that's how fire it came out like.
seriously, it's a sad reminder how much a complete has been he is. i'm given the impression he wanted to make the viewers feel how maniacal he behaves throughout all of the video, but it just legit end up as the biggest mid-life crisis mental breakdown i've seen from a celeb. i don't even now how to accurately feel about this, it's just beyond embarassing. at least there's the, as a wise man said, "instagram reels" kinda comments that are precisely the only reason this video the viewers came for, that's the only positive for garbage rapping like that. huh?
eh, i like strive and think the criticisms towards it, rational as they are, seems to have gotten a bit far but dual rulers was just terrible. i couldn't get past how transparently inconsistent it was and it gaved me the impression the writers didn't even care to take notice of it's major plotholes, it just came across as hackneyed and talking down to the audiance. i really didn't get what it was trying to accomplish, only to make long-time fans pissed about it's end results.
while people will always associate much more with david hayter as solid snake, his voice performance in this ova during this speech is why bernie forever remains my favorite role of his. 0080 is the closest part in all of gundam i'd gladly give a 10/10 rating to if i were to do it myself, and both the original and english versions have almost all of it's actors delivering masterfully with the compelling drama down the road.
r.i.p koji tsujitani (og bernie as well as seabook (or kincade, as alternatively named in crossbone mangas) from f91), he too did a perfect job.
well yeah i can't even imagine how painful it was for the fans who were indeed striving for newer content for about years upon years, so it's nothing for them to take a blame for. getting about the same game with only more redone stuff (although it definitely wasn't as bad as what street fighter 4 itself became as capcom milked it to high heaven where it became even less compelling than it already was, it was starting to be even more of a bore where it led my interest for it to be left furthermore away from it) gets boring after a while and it will be time to bring a sequel to the mainline lore, although it can take a ton of time to imagine how much it costs to make it come all by it's product's merchandise and to me? i find that reasonable why ishiwatari made xrd a long time to get chunked out for so long, whatever the efforts on arc's part were.
i'll admit that as much as i love nakata's work as sol, his voice from the dual rulers anime has gotten such an aged and retired quality that he didn't had back then more than ever. don't know if sol would ever be the same without him, but i wouldn't mind a recast for the guy now if a new project would drop as he could welcome whoever would honor his footsteps in the part just for respect. does that sound rational?
Ciao!
ASSOLUTO CINEMA!
A presto.
yeah, that's something that is hard to deny. having your voice getting aged as you soon push 70 or even 60 is where it makes the difference immediately notable, i honestly don't think there is an actor in general who's about 70+ who can still sound like a younger person genuinely (except maybe toshio furukawa) to my belief. that's what i meant when i've long since realized that the older age of the 1950s borned actors (and soon the 1960s bunch) won't have the same extant of youth in their vocals as they did back then even around the 2010s, i do have nostalgia for their prime activity but it's definitely the time to push forward and recrute younger actors to the field to prove how highly capable the japanese acting industry is not afraid to bring new faces to the table when totally needed while still allowing the veterans from the older days who are still breathing in this world to still kicking even then. i do have a lot of affection for a ton of actors in general from that era but their voices are definitely showing with their ages on top of that, it's never too late to pass the torch.
i did check a little of dragon's heaven as you told me about kayumi's role in there and it also featured yuko minaguchi as the lead and kei tomiyama (wen-li yang) in it too, he definitely brought his commanding presence greatly from what i've seen of it. may both him and hashi rest well now, a crying shame dandy man has lost yet another actor in this year and i didn't suspect it at all. who's gonna live up to their legacies as slayer now? i don't know which will be, i'll just wait who it will be revealed with all due respects.
good you like it, i didn't. maybe it tried having different intentions to aim for when it tried to deviate from the manga while the latter was still on-going, but it still fell very short of it. anderson has overstayed his welcome by the 2nd half where it's hard to remember much of what he was in the anime version (him having a an inferior predecessor actor to wakamoto (rip anyway, nachi nozawa i mean) didn't brought the favors to the table either) and incognito was just an horrendous fan fiction-tier final boss that only humaliated himself by abysmal embarassment of getting the taste of his medicine up his ass. not to mention the showdown he had with alucard just felt like one of those videos that i'd discover from some old websites i watched that had really bad drawing into them mainly due to how that fight gaved me the impression the producers have been running out of ideas into stop thinking to their minds, it really just bugged me for it's stupidity.
it's not that i'm sad wakamoto is alive (i'm really glad he is) that got to me, it's just that i kinda miss how it was still easier for people around his era to have still played younger characters (ones who aren't 50 or 60 and up) back then. i also miss the same gravities his voice had back then, but i don't have qualms with his current voice anyway. that's all i have to clear for you.
sorry to skip on the previous one, but i've got something to say: yesterday, norio wakamoto has turned 8 decades old.
truly is sad seeing all those legends we grew up with since our childhood getting really old, at least they are still kicking in the industry like always which is never not a plus.
ok i'll say. and oh bro, there are a couple i'd love to list for you, but some of those won't the obvious:
patlabor's so never cry just brings all the feels to me that i just could never want to skip it every time, it really is warming and it saddened me it didn't stick for the last episode of the anime. stray from wolf's rain (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoQuu7GPxAI) is the main reason why i was eager to watch it in full, i still love this anime even now no matter the negativities it got. flying in the sky from mobile fighter g gundam is also just a classic to not vibe with, sad yoshifumi ushima (the singer of it) passed away. gotta give a special mention to street fighter ii v's english opening, by far the best i have seen for an anime english-wise. definitely captures the martial arts and optimistic preperation aspects greatly. one thing i love about is the similarity to the hadou shoryuken theme, it really does sound like a tribute to that track. i'd also love for you to watch oban star racers solely because of it's opening "chance to shine", always the warming goosebumps when i hear it. the first season's openingsmade for gundam 00 are also jamming, would be nice for you to get around to watch both seasons of this anime (despite the backlash the 2nd one got, it was still of more high quality than what i've thought of it the first time i've finished watching it). 2001 hellsing might have been bad, but it's undeniable how kickassery it's theme song and in-show soundtrack truly are. hikaru no go's get over and fantasy are also awesome on their own, some of the better written shonens i've recently checked for myself. devil may cry's 2007 anime sucks, but at least it's opening managed to be actually cool on it's own. bobobo is some of the greatest shonen to ever exist and the makers of the anime have been on some hard drugs when trying to come up with an opening for it which is perfect for the show's bizarro world sense of humor. what do you think of all of them?

in regards to xrd, what are your favorite tracks from it? i find magnolia eclair to be the one i've listened to the most in no small part of how addicting it is, here's all of it's collections of music in this game: https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/guilty-gear-xrd-sign

what do you think of it?
