You must be a pretty competent programmer then! I've done alot of languages but I have a feeling that I'm just almost dabbling in all of them and not mastering anything overall.

Yeah. its a weird thing, Java is a real big focus for most schools I have seen. But then java is a bit weird sometimes as it doesn't follow it's own rules. C# felt like a more polished up and easier version of java.

Refactoring is so pain in C++ and how the code only reads DOWNWARDS, so if you write a method somehwere you won't be able to call it unless the new method you write is written under it.

Hey, um in school so far, I've done one year of java, half a year of C#, some web design stuff(Javascript/html/css) just the standard stuff. Ummm tiny bit of actionscript 3( I mean i crammed actionscript 3 for one night before my test). Half a semster of C++

nahhh i'd say it's slower. :C you guys have AP classes and stuff... my school was just superior than most high schools in the compscience department LOL the stuff i'm learning in university is stuff my teacher taught me in 11th grade. and i also did html/css in high school (but i did it in elementary school for fun...)

c++ and assembly are important too!
