I've watched plenty of shows which shaft contributed in and I enjoyed, I just simply didn't like most of the main shaft shows I've watched like monogatari, psychoelectric girl etc. That said, I still plan on watching stuff like nisekoi and March comes in like a lion, so my opinion on shaft might still change in the future
