We have a couple of new polls up now which we have the Character and Team of the Month for February 2012 which you can vote for by visiting the following links.
To get this club up and more active again we are looking for members who are interested in helping us with different tasks in the club. If you have lots of spare time, are on MAL almost every day and interested in joining one of the staff openings please feel free to PM one of the admins on which tasks you’re interested in. Here’s some of the staff openings that are available now:
Newsletter Team – This is the area we need the most help. Job of being on the newsletter team is to send letters out to the members of the fan club. Were looking for at least 15 members or more to help us out with this task since sending letters to nearly 5000 members takes a long time for only one person alone.
Member Card Makers - If you have some graphic experience, we need your help with making Member ID Cards and sending them out to members that request for one.
Club Recruiters – Looking for a least a couple of members who are interested to help inviting members to the club that are interested in the Naruto series.
Again please PM me or one the other admins if you are interested in one of the positions above.
Code Geass Nicely paced, nice character development, a few plot twists. I also liked the ending, as it was a real ending rather than a over the top happy ending or a silly ending that makes little sense. Overall i liked it very much, but that could also be because i am still on a high from finishing a series and feeling good about it finishing,
May i ask you a question what are you thoughts on the anime named Queen's Blade: Rurou no Senshi.
how did you like and why or why not. no reason for asking this just curious about how you feel please respond if you want ok. also if you want to ask me a question look at my anime list and ask about one i am watching or have already seen and ask about if i like one or not if you want.
Thankfully, I should get up-to-date with Naruto is the next few Months, Crunchyroll will be showing all the Shippuden Episodes until it's up-to-date with Japan (8 episodes a week). and with Viz Media releasing 11 Naruto Volumes of the manga, it will also be right behind Japan in a few months (although the main mangas I follow are Hayate the Combat Butler, Gentlemen Alliance Cross and Sand Chronicles (I also have started following Bokura Ga Ita)
An Cafe r great - they're a Oshere-Kei (subset of Visual Kei) Band, I've got the three albums they've released so-far and their two EPs, their music is rock with a more cuter element (in this country it's similar to pop-rock, only the british version is crap (damn bands like McFly))
I'll try to see about going to the Nightwish Concert, but it also depends on if I have any money (with travel, tickets, miscelloneus)
Happy New Year for Tomorrow!!!
Haven't chatted in a while - how have you been???
haven't watched Naruto Shippuden in months (had serious problems with my broadband which resulted in almost 2 months of missed episodes, which i haven't cuaght up on yet)
Been to any good concerts lately??? I'm going to AN CAFE's Concert at the Carling Academy Islington in March - CAN'T WAIT, I missed it this year so can't wait to see them in 2009
I've been listening to alot of Nightwish lately as my mother is a huge fan, ever since i let her listen to their album Century Child - i know there at the Carling Academy Brixton, do you know what the venue's like as it not one i have been to before
Excellent on the coaching quailification. i have tons of over-time this summer, but i'm going to the West End in 2 weeks and i'm probably going to the Tokyopop Recons at Waterstones in Canterbury on the 29th July (the waterstones that used to be ottakars)
I passed all my exams and now don't have to return to Uni till 29th September - although i have a Forensic Computing Conference that i'm attending on 1&2 September
Amecon costs £45 + travel/spending costs & room/board. But you have to go on a waiting list as only a certain number of people can go. I'm still on the waiting list for the weekend, I so want to go!!! COSPLAY-BALL!!!
London MCM is cheap and easy and there is no limit to how many people can attend
I brought my ticket back in febuary, it costs £13 for advanced tickets (which allow you to get into the convention early). + £20 travel costs and then all the spending money I can get together (usually £150+), Anime DVDs are cheaper then the shops (I brought the first 7 volumes of Gundam Seed Destiny Last time, which in HMV is £140, but at the convention buying from Beez Entertainment, it cost £60). Also some anime dvds are not available in the shops yet and Region 1 Anime DVDs are available.
+ Posters, Toys, Sweets, Plushes, Clothes and many more, The Cosplayer's are so cute (Gothic Lolita, Japanese Sailor School Uniforms, Pink Hair)
