Understandable, the manga does slow down a little bit when Ippo does more title defenses and then go's on his eastern run. what does get better there are really great fights I love from that eastern arc, but once past that a lot of different character's you know and love gets development and Ippo get's sidestepped. But but hear me out that there are some fire moments and we do see Ippo getting crazy development in his boxing. Do it whanever you feel like it man, waited long for it myself and caught up with where it left till chapter 1300+ in three weeks. Do get the sentiment of not doing a fourth season bc it would take long to get great again, but stilll try to have hope for a fourth season even if the chances are slim and been waiting for it since rising stopped airing ngl.



Did watch the 1979 adaptation already and loved that one a lot, so my expectations are different from most people keep that in mind. Do think they do a great job at retelling it, do think it is a bit rushed here & there but that's bc the old adaptation toked it's time. Not as great as the original but still great imo, who doens't love a great classic story. I certaintly do and the artstyle still has that classic look to it, while having that modern touch to it.

Feel the same about being between a casual and elitest, even if it is a bit more to the latter.
Felled 50/50 about it from the 500s to the 900s and now realize i'm further off from casual.

Did ever planned to catch up with the manga at all? the anime stopped around 1/3rd of Manga, what's a lot but worth it imo.

I keep hoping they tell an interesting story like they did with s1 part 2, but I die a little on the inside every time they forcefully insert sexual shit.

The most recent episode was particularly hard to watch. He kidnaps two girls, gropes one of them, he tells his friend (who is also a girl) "yeah i squeezed her tits", she's like, "in a romantic way? (cuz I still wanna fuck you)", he responds, "nah just a little experiment", and then she's like "oh I guess it's fine then". Like what????? Then they both go back to find that he kept them so long that they both pissed themselves and have become completely emotionally broken, the friend seems hardly disturbed by this, they patch them up a bit and all of the sudden they're fine and not distraught anymore, even go so far as to say that if he wants to have sex with them they should at least marry first (as if she'd be okay with it then?!?!), they put some facepaint on them and threaten that it will become permanent if they don't walk around the school like that for at least a day, then they go "okay cool, nice getting to know you", jump out of a window and bada bing bada boom problem solved. As if those girls are not going to tell anyone about this and get him kicked off the school for being a complete psychopath. Which won't happen cuz it's this show.

It's honestly got to be one of the most egregious episodes so far, and that's saying something.

But basically complaining about bad shows is more fun than praising good shows so now I got something to talk about.

30. Bleach's Thousand Year Blood War arc is the best arc in the series. this is a popular opinion mate xd

nah, I'll watch it when/if i watch it. regardless of how it turns out, it can't change my enjoyment of its first season
