My summer was great! I was in Greece last month for my sister's wedding.

I started school 2 week ago and so it has been quite busy. This is my 2nd year of Law school, so it gonna be pretty busy.

Already had in the 1st 4-5 weeks and didn´t really change much but I could caregorize TOP5 sequels and non-sequels

For 5th spot it´s between Silent Witch (Bocchi The Witch) or Muri Muri! (the best anime yuri series we had in 7 years) or Karaoke Iko (manga content was already adaptated in 4 episodes but depending how the 5th original one is going to be at the end of the month - who knows if I give it 9 or not).
Dekin no Mogura and Ame to Kimi to are the underrated or rather not so widely watched ''underground'' series due to their source material not being really translated in ENG but vibe wise feel like modern classic while Ruri no Houseki is the mainstream one from the ''underground'' goods despite it being serialized in even less known mag that the other two series.Otherwise Clevatess was in contention early on for 5th spot but sadly 1-cour only can do so much with the time spend on world building and setting the board how the power scalling is upon uncovering the portion of the mystries this series offers..

Grand Blue 2nd cour (new season 7 years later)
Seishun Buta Yarou wa Santa Claus no Yume wo Minai (new season 7 years later beacuse there were several movies before this)
Dandadan 2nd cour
Yofukashi no Uta 2nd cour (new season 3 years later)
Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node 2nd cour (came back 12 months later which is reasonable timeframe)

Sakamoto Days 2nd cour was in contention for the 5th spot at some point but the later episodes are production values wise like the whole 1st cour..not to mention the arc it is currently at is just intermission one before the bigger stuff after.Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt 15 years later is also great even if some of the stuff is too Gen Z wise when it comes to what it focuses on even if the parodies and references are respectable all the time and the utilization of the 2 male angel brothers is questionable when it comes to their utilization if they were to be used in every segment as their ONE recurring gag is not really funny for recurring character unless you really want to see them as 80s comedy duo but thrown into TikTok era.Dr. Stone 7th cour also should be in contention as the 2nd to last cour of the anime but in mid-point of this cour you can see decisions with the cast and the way to conclude this arc that either this was axed and asked to be concluded in 3-4 volumes at that time or author just ran out of ideas for better build up to the final arc/stretch or this as what JUMP wanted him to do in the spirit of JUMP editorial view or whatever - still solid work and better utilized whole cast than JJK I would still say.

How is everything?

Wano was cool overall but just like Whole Cake Island the storyboarding of the build up or break-time was still messy not only due to how long the arcs were in the manga but also how many episodes they spent on it overall.Obviously the flashbacks overdose was one thing and recaps but the key match ups were done properly with justice in there..the last third of the arc/saga the most.Once One Piece came back from break this spring the episodes have 18mins of raw new footage (not counting preview,ED theme,OP theme,recap and mid-episode break).
I did watch that as well like 14-15 years ago lol..in era when the shoujo genre in general was slowing down but still we had some stuff here and there and since I binged it back then don´t remember much of it besides it being great timecapsule to mid 90s xD

Hmm..if Solo Leveling 2nd cour was the highest rated seasonal of winter then (until the show ended and TikTok generation voters were exposed jk?) you know what the current generation demands from fresh ongoing anime..stuff that not only is that but also pleasing to watch 2nd time with your favourite (over)reaction channel guy/girl xD That aside it my TOP0-5 was pretty strong even if the 5th one in the spot is Donghua it´s great audiovisual P#RN like Solo Leveling but here it´s the whole time in 3D and the whole season takes place in one city so it feels kinda modern retro like where you spend all the time in this destination because writting demanded it and for various and controversal reasons if you hear people complaining how it mixes MCs cultivations from both Novel and Comic medium but I think it´s ballsy being diferent then either of them and I like it (reminds me how manga,90s series+movies and Rebuild movies series are different from each other and I talk about Evangelion xD).But ye Kusuiriya should be on top for female MC alone I suppose for winter.Spring is relatively weaker I would say so far but that´s what you get if you don´t follow Wind Breaker 2nd cour and To Be Hero X which is sequel to something from 8 years ago which not many people did watch but here it doesn´t matter as it works only for the world itself as the cast is fresh and so is the runtime and artistic and morale direction I suspect as well?

Not really..but I sometimes think about the sitcom genre in general which how I like when there´s sitcom moments in animes these days.Mostly D. Conan is like 90% of it is sitcom teatime material..xD But ye,few of the longer running Donghuas helps me overlook the fact that the 1st half of 2025 and its seasonals are just not the ones I demand or are adaptated as promo to generate its sales before the source material falls into niche category sooner than later which means less sales for the source material..

I'm doing great. So far this year, I have travel to Australia and Spain. Next month, I will be heading to Hawaii for my sister bachelorette.

LNs are fine..or even VNs since they are legally free and you could say unserialized drafts for the reforged content that gets published so it can be legit LN that people can support via buying the content,merch.whatever xD

Zoro is awesome but so are Law´s and Kid´s best moves I would say xD Wano is all about the build up to the 5th Gear of Luffy and how the form can compete with the best (at least from the character we know so far and their abilities).
Hmm..I can kinda see that or rather it depends on my immersive levels..

Onii-san Leveling 2nd cour : Returning 9 months later in expense of never fully going into production of Fate/Strange Fake..again xD But it´s fair since they´re not trying to do as many animes as JC Staff in 2024..or MAPPA in 2023 or CloverWorks that might in 2025.

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto : S2 returns that returns 9 months later as well..gonna be one of the best 2-cours animes that did debut this year just from adaptation prospect alone since it has 2 separate manga adaptations (by different publishers) which leaves me in no need to really read LN which is the 1st source material it´s coming from

Ave Mujica : sequel to Bang Dream 2023 which kinda explores more the girl that left the group of the main cast of prequl series MyGO!!!!! and finally giving her the shine and the social circle that she works with...all the ones in this group have their mental or internal/complex problems..in one way it can be group of escapisms that can get them to the new heights,hopefully or just destroy them regarding the possible path to the ones future..

Science Future : 6th cour of Dr. Stone out of 8 that is going to be in total..it´s definitely still very good adaptation and content to some extend but the peaks are in the 2nd cour and 4th and 5th cour I would say..retrospectively speaking xD

100-nin no Kanojo S2 : I just love the cast from the manga already and anime just elevates it even further as the best WEEKLY YOUNG JUMP manga besides Kingdom and Shadows House

Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon S2 : Nothing much changed regarding structure..at least when it comes to build up regarding its own big villian of this group and starting the cour with dealing with another problematic mature woman that actually is just die-hard retro tsundere I suppose..quite nicely resolved in only couple episodes

Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun S2 : Cool..might actually pick up the manga where the season might leave at since they picked up the arc that couldn´t be fit in S1 from 5 years ago to the start of S2 and I can see why..very cool and captivating OP song once again lyrics wise

Yosuga-hen : 6th cour of Ao no Exorcist possibly being made by separate animators team since it has its own entry and basically the anime airs back to back cours.Manga is still awesome in its regard which what the characters/cast went all through at this point and with this season we start adaptating ch100 onwards with currenly 155ch out in total.This time the pacing might be even better since previous cour did adapt 2 and half chapter per episode on average so the breather content/episodes felt rushed

Ishura : Another title that returns 9 months later where the amount of cast and potential for all of them is really high but the screentime for them prior to the sh't hit the fan as usual is not as long with the character but enough if you´re used to how BLEACH uses its cast in the last saga

Unnamed Memory Act 2 : not familiar with the content of this..since the manga adaptation of Act 1 isn´t even finished yet but the adaptation of it was rushed comparing them..obivously because the source material was LN - this was Index III levels of rushfest and production values put into this :S

Uni:Birth : UniteUp returns with sequel 2 years later as male idol show that doesn´t quite compete with Idolish7 franchise and its developments it reach across all the cours but this is quite good in it´s early stages as well as you have 3 rival groups under single agency (created by former male idol duo kings basically)

Phantom Trigger : and lastly sequel to Grisaia Stargazer 2020 movie which MAL audience wasn´t already fond off back then as it just have DNA of modern retro..not only due to the character designs and narratives but also the way these kind of out of meta shows are paced and directed to still feel both niche and mainstream which doesn´t really work most of the time but I have good time with the universe still as time capsuse show if nothing else



Nothing exciting really..just really good sleep few times a week and that´s more than enough xD
