which part of Japan are you planning on moving to?
Ashhk Nov 30, 11:02 AM
And it's kinda frustrating because Dublin is like the cheapest travel in whole Europe (at least departing from Paris) it's like 30€ for a back and forth plane ticket but then it's too expensive to book an Airbnb lol. Tbh it wasn't really this way for the Louvre, it could happen because they didn't even protect the museum especially some zones they were aware of but didn't do anything, we're far from an Arsène Lupin case lol

Yup, and also the Texan mentality which is known for being very strong I guess haha. Otherwise there's just so much to see anyway, I wonder if Alaska is just the "Canadian USA" state or if it's different from Canada though.

It's hard to know for an outsider because the EU loves exaggerating everything and making us believe war is gonna start at any moment.

It seems like there are problems with HK infrastructure and buildings, I mean speaking of it the recent building fires were frightening, are you doing fine regarding that? It's truly shocking.

Imagine if the earthquake really happened, you would have been so lucky lol, it was also the apocalypse regarding the weather during that time from what I remember, everything got flooded in Tokyo.

The scammers are everywhere in Africa and especially in the Maghreb sadly... I mean it was the same in Morocco, you can't avoid it, it's a pity because this is usually the only downside to the travel but it's really exhausting after several days of trying to avoid the scams everywhere.

Oh yes! I finished watching Owari no Seraph, it's pretty good but I mainly see it as an alternative SnK with vampires instead, though it kinda lacks of pacing and world building, too much buildup for not much in the end, it never really continued in anime format which is disappointing :( Darker than Black is very cool but kinda mysterious, the story has many arcs around different characters all related to some organisations and the main character, the power system is very original. Also Black Lagoon I watched it in 2018-2019, this one was awesome, I highly recommend it!!

not watching much these days..

the two new anime I'm actively following are Watashi wo Tabetai Hitodenashi which is sort of a horror anime, and Princession Orchestra which is similar to Symphogear.

hi, it's been a long time indeed.

yeah, Trinity Seven is a good show. It's back in the day when I still regularly watched harem anime.

Yeah tbh when it's stuck in your head like that, the only thing left is to finally taste it lol. My mother went to Dublin recently, apparently it's a very good city, but it's as expensive as London. The police don't do anything against pickpockets so of course they continue, Paris is getting ridiculized again when you have people casually robbing the Louvre museum and leaving like it's nothing.

Yup, I think that's why it's better to just visit very different places and prioritize the states with the strongest history. If I had to go back to the USA I would still like to visit Texas because it must be a good expenrience, and states like Alaska or Hawaii as well.

But when you are in Taiwan, you don't feel any pressure coming from China, people aren't afraid or very political? I have no idea how it really is for this part tbh

Oh yes, and to be honest I wouldn't like to live in a city that is "too" big, life in Tokyo must be rough, I think the best is just cities that have everything you need but don't have more than 100k inhabitants, that's also why I like my city here and I wouldn't like living in Paris at all. Very cold during the winter and very hot during the summer sounds even worse than Tokyo/Osaka etc to me hahaha, it's just easier to get used to the cold when it doesn't last for the whole year, but when you're melting in summer there's nothing you can do other than sticking to the A.C

Sadly you can't avoid every issue, it's just that it's so stressful, I still remember how they announced the next earthquake like the end of the world when I was in Tokyo, fortunately in the end that terrible earthquake didn't even happen.

I hope you're doing better now then, how was your trip in Cairo?

Heya !!!! how ya been ?

I had never heard of strawberry pasta before, but now I’m kind of curious xD. It sounds both terrible and delicious at the same time lol. Funny timing that I watched the movie "A Real Pain" yesterday, they do a full (Jewish) tour in Poland, and Lublin seems like a very interesting city too.
To be fair, there are pickpockets everywhere in Europe... Paris is hell for that, sadly. I’ve never been to Vienna, but what you said makes sense, if you’re into art it’s definitely a city to visit. I’d still recommend visiting Finland, I’d gladly move there if it weren’t so cold. :(

Ahah, well, I didn’t want to stick to just one city or state, I had to fully enjoy some of the most recommended places to visit here xD. But just like it was for Japan, it’s definitely better to go in spring rather than in the middle of summer when it’s hottest. Arizona was nice, though nothing out of the ordinary from what I saw. I didn’t go to Phoenix because it was too far, instead, I visited some Native American reservations and smaller Route 66 towns like Kingman and Williams (near Sedona), etc. I also wanted to visit Bearizona Wildlife Park but didn’t have time. The people I met in Arizona were very welcoming though, I even became friends with the In-N-Out waitress xD.
I heard that Philadelphia was in one of the worst possible conditions regarding drugs and homelessness, so sadly, I’m not surprised.

I’m even more surprised now lol. I just wonder if China will eventually pressure HK and Taiwan over this too, since they’re so sensitive about porn, even if Taiwan’s future already looks grim regarding their wish to stay independent.

I went to Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo, Okinawa, and the Nagoya Pokémon Center (from what I remember), and I think the best one was the Osaka store. It’s crazy how everything is always better in Osaka ahahahah XD.
Nice! I think you’d only need one day to see Ishigaki, and another day for hiking in Iriomote. Miyakojima looks interesting too. I was also curious about Yonaguni-jima, which I think is the southernmost point of Japan right? there were flights there when I was in Ishigaki.
Yes, when it comes to living in a big city, Nagoya is definitely more relaxed. Living in Tokyo or Osaka sounds like hell, especially downtown. Sendai is a good choice though. I think you’d get used to the cold quickly. I’m not sure exactly how cold it gets, I know it’s snowy, but is it -5°C or -20°C? I know it’s nothing like living in Irkutsk lol, but I wonder how cold it really gets. Sapporo in summer was amazing though, I imagine some Japanese people go north during summer holidays instead of following the cliché Hawaii vacation trend xD. Relaxing at 20°C is obviously better than burning at 40°C.
At least you’re safe from earthquakes unless it’s a huge one... sure, they’ve happened before, but they’re still rare. It’s not like living in a country that has earthquakes but no infrastructure to handle them.

Ahaha, well, you can already be proud of 90%, and now it’s time to aim even higher, but it goes with time I guess xD. Anyway, congrats!!
