In my case One Piece was my first anime so I watched it non-stop (since I didn't know any other animes except for Doraemon & Inazuma Eleven lol)

But normally I would say One Piece is an anime that's better to take slow, watch slowly, don't expect much and in no time you'll naturally be engaged and watch it non-stop, if not you must have a really stong mentality, or that's what I think.

Also yes, skypiea is really slow, a friend of mine also stopped there because it was painful for her to watch (I'm offended by that but I can understand it lol).

Honestly Marine Ford is such a great arc!! It's just too epic. I'm glad you're liking One Piece that much.
