Thanks, Wolf-bro. As for manga, it's a conscious decision based on two things. First, I came to anime late from movies which I neglect for some years now. I also hardly scratched the surface of TV series beyond the S-tier. So I'm a very audio-visual type and if I had to pick another time sink, it probably would be that. Which is already reason number 2, I have a lot less spare time than I had a few years ago. I already struggle to keep watching anime as intensively as I still do, no room for more :(

i watched the anime adaptation a coiuple of years ago and that was really good. i do love that sort of video game setting genre. i think i will read it at some point tho. i flicked through the first volume in waterstones the other day and i liked the art style.
i ultimately had to drop sundome after reading the first two volumes. it was a bit too perverted for me. i defiantely coiuld see the psychological aspect i came for and i reallt liked the side charecters too. but it was just too sexualised it didnt make me feel many positive emotions. maybe im just squeemish like that. dont let that sto you tho. i does get very fem dom and it looks into the main charceters motivation and thoughts behind his actions. i think right now im feeling something a bit more plot driven

well. not very far into it yet. was attracted by the fact it had the tags psychological and seinen in it. as well as ecchi of course. but i had the preconception it would be psychological then a bit of ecchi here and there. but it is very ecchi driven. the set up so far is iintersting. unique charecters and a pretty sick art style. to be honest its too soon to tell yet but ill get back to you in a couple of days when i have read more. the first chapter does a really good job of setting up the charecters and theme of the series. if your looking for an interesting read i say try the first chapter out. i had to wimp out from reading it on the train today. i was sat by an innocent old lady and didnt want to risk upsetting her lol
