I didn t notice that. Shanks is my favourite character so I would be pretty upset if he'll lose to BB. I can't wait for the new chapter to drop. Anyways the parallel u just presented me is amazing!

Yeah I was also thinking that BB might defeat IMU and than Luffy destroys him in the best one piece fight we'll ever witness. BB vs Imu is fully personal at this point while Luffy doesn't even care about Imu.

Honestly, I have no idea where the story is headed anymore. Seeing how strong Xebec was and yet he still couldn’t even scratch Imu, let alone beat him ,completely changes the scale of the endgame. And then there’s Luffy. That moment when he ran into Blackbeard was the first time he genuinely looked uneasy, almost like something about Blackbeard felt wrong on a deeper level.

People talk about a potential Luffy–Blackbeard team-up, but I just don’t see it happening. I think we’re heading toward two parallel final conflicts: Shanks hunting down Blackbeard and ultimately defeating him, while Luffy surpasses Shanks by taking down Imu. I can even imagine Shanks dying proudly, telling Luffy he’s become a great pirate.

Blackbeard has an insane legacy and presence in the story, but even with all of that, I just can’t picture him teaming up with Luffy. It doesn’t feel like something Oda would do or something Luffy would ever accept.

yes, xebec generational run should be studied.

hi! i’ve actually watched up to 1090, start of egghead. i thought of picking up the manga from here because those last 60 or so episodes of wano were tiring to watch, i got dressrosa flashbacks. but i'll probably stick to the anime and read everything from the start one day
