Glad to hear it, it's definitely in my top 5 as well. It was so seriously powerful. Have you read Ever17? It's by the same author, and while it's not on the same level as 999 imo, it's still a wonderful read.

I haven't, but i know somethings about shinsekai yori; it doesn't have an opening, it's one of theanimeman's favorite anime, and one of my real friends who the only one i actually know that he watches shinsekai yori doesn't like (he watches anime base on enjoyment so that's why he less likes it)

It's not in my watching queue yet (watching list in my bio), but when the time comes i'll highly gonna watch it, thanks a lot
