Yeah. Especially the original series and End of Evangelion. EoE is my favorite anime movie.

I prefer the anime because it has the addition of music + amazing animation (especially the ones which wit animated, before titans started being 3d lol) so scenes have a lot more weight and atmosphere than just seeing it drawn black & white. I think the manga is good, but personally I disliked the ending. I think its concept is really good but the way Isayama ended up doing it is underwhelming. Eren & Armin's conversation was way too short and sounded really stupid compared to the level of dialogue before. It didn't have the impact it should have, since its literally an end to an amazing 10 year old story.

Though the "freedom" panel is literally epic & tragic at the same time.


It really makes me think about Eren as a character, whether he is a monster or a hero. It really depends on the side you are on, Eldians & Marleyans.

While he did genocide 90% of humanity other than Eldians, those same people did make the Eldians live excruciatingly painfully, made them die in wars Marley started and in general massacred them for unjust reasons, just because they wanted to be free. One way or the other that cycle had to end for good, and the ending we got is really tragic since in the end Eren couldn't manage to bring himself to destroy all of humanity knowing that Marley will probably just rebuild and destroy Eldia.
