I’m Lina from the us and I’m 21,I’ve been watching anime for 12 years now
Started with one piece detective Conan hxh and naruto (and some other kids anime I forgot about lol )

Learned Japanese by myself and of course still learning it until this very moment cause it’s basically the world’s hardest language to master according to 2018 statistics ^o^

Went to Japan twice and fell deeply in love with everything about it from the culture to the food -

A quick disclaimer : I purely decided to learn Japanese because of Japan not because of anime it’s extremely hard and anime being a motive won’t last for long (trust me I know a lot of people who did this and gave up on their 1st year) learning a language like Japanese will really need a strong motive like loving Japan and it’s culture so I honestly respect everyone who go out of their way to educate themselves about where does anime come from and not think about Japan being like anime cs it’s not and if u need to know more about that don’t hesitate to comment I’ll reply to everything and everyone (*≧∀≦*)

Anime for me is so much more than a hobby or an addiction it’s a passion that keeps me looking forward and never giving up anime changed me in so many ways anime helped me to get to the point where I’m at right now in life anime helped me experience some emotions I honestly would never dream of experiencing anime comforted me when I was in the lowest points in my life anime stayed by my side when everybody left I loved laughed cried felt strong smiled hated felt physical and emotional pain from crying or just stared at a screen for 30 minutes straight so all I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart for everyone that made me experience that from the voice actors to the animators I’ll honestly can’t and probably won’t know a proper way to pay you back but all I can say is I love you

I watch every genre I don’t really have a favorite I’m open to new stuff and I have a non drop policy if I don’t like a show I’ll just give it a second chance to impress me I rarely rate a 10 because a 10 for me is something that changed me so my 10s are shows that changed me (plus my list of favorites shows of course )

I read manga / manhwa my fav genres are horror psychology dark fantasy thriller yaoi adventure army demons and some other unlisted fucked up stuff

I do have Whatsapp, but I don't use it to talk to people I don't know in person.

I love your love for Japan, and that it is not limited to anime, but to the culture which is the most important in itself, it is a fascinating country with a rich history like many countries, you will tell me, but the Japanese always do things thoroughly
