i'll be honest, when i read your messages i was like "could you be one of my people?" and i mean that in the best way. it appears we have a pretty similar way of communicating over writing which is pretty cool. other places like my blog and with some of my more writerly friends there's this pressure to type "right" and while it doesn't change what i'd say it does change how i'd say it, to me presentation of ideas is just as important as the ideas themselves. sorry for getting all philosophical haha
i think you have the right way of going about ratings. i'll be honest, beyond my criteria basically being "this is the level of enjoyment i put each show at" i don't put more thought into the score lol. i make no effort to rate or review "objectively." i don't even think such a thing exists, but that's a whole nother story. what i do is basically determine if i liked a show, and then if i'm writing about it i determine what it did and how- or as i call the series of sorts on my blog "What it did and what I thought"
i feel you on the multi-pronged consciousness alteration, i'm basically a monster energy-holic if my parents are to be believed as well as being on hella meds. life's a wild ride sometimes, lol
rhythm games are pretty cool. the main one i'm into is BangDream, or Bandori, or however you format/spell it. you ever play that one? it's a gacha thing for mobile, i don't play the gacha part but yeah. got some banger music tracks in there too, i love Raise A Suilen more than i do most people.
one last thing, just so i don't forget- thanks for indirectly reminding me to fix the lack of 3x3's/favorites charts on my profile. i've been meaning to add em for months but i'm too lazy, so now would be a good time i suppose.
