I wonder what sort of gimmick they're going to try and dump on us next. Maybe like "super abilities" or something lol.

I still think Chimecho is the best of them all. But for the ones we hadn't seen before, what stands out to me are Glimmora, Golurk, and Crabominable surprisingly. I also quite like the new garchomp, kinda neat that it loses its ground typing to become pure dragon.

You planning on getting the DLC at some point in the future?

I mean its not really close is it? Z moves and Terastilization are alright, but lose their luster pretty quickly. Once you've seen one you've kinda seen them all. And as for dynamax, I mean it basically just IS mega evolution, but a bit lamer. Like woo, they're big I guess.

Mega Evolution, despite its goofy ass name, is almost like getting a brand new pokemon. Like I've used pokemon just because they got a cool mega evolution, like Aggron for example. I can't say I've ever done the same for some random z-move, or because I really wanted Sudowoodo to be grass type.

I think arceus did a lot of things better, but on the whole I think I preferred Z-A. Probably because it focused more on the whole ranking up thing rather than just catching pokemon, even if it did a bit of the ol' 1,2 skip a few 99, 100 lol. The real time combat, though far from perfect, was also better than I expected.

How about you? Did the game stick out for you in any meaningful way?

Well I beat the game. Funnily enough stunfisk was kind of my MVP in that last battle. It was so low to the ground that as long as it stayed far enough away, those Eiffel tower plant tentacle things couldn't actually hit it lol.

Yeah the game certainly has its fair share of enjoyable soundtracks. I've even found a lot of the side characters to be pretty fun (angry maid, obsessive socialite, dumb fist guy, nice guy loan shark etc.), though the actual main Z-A quartet kinda sucks.

Haha, sadly no, you don't get the Starmieite till quite late so I never got the opportunity.

Honestly Zeraora might just be my least favourite mythical pokemon in general, so yeah I also couldn't really give a crap.

Of course I haven't found a shiny! Heck in a sense I "lost" a shiny, because mareep was one of the 2 shinies I ever found in Scarlet, and now everyone has a goddamn shiny mareep lol.

Anyways I beat the rich bitch with the kicking battle theme. Swapped out sableye for a Falinks like I said I would, but on a whim I also swapped starmie for a stunfisk. Also decided to go for Galarian Slowbro over slowking.

Glimmora and Golisopod are the two I'm looking forward to.

I'll probably do a mix of new and old stuff for my run. I really wanted to use Mega Steelix, but it turns out gamefreak cut out the BEST GODDAMN FEATURE FROM LEGENDS ARCEUS FOR GOD KNOWS WHAT REASON..... not that I'm bitter or anything.

Anyways, I beat the electric girl (really a streamer again?) added a Lairon, Gabite, and Galarian Slowpoke to my team. Probably going to end up cutting Sableye for Falinks whenever those finally get unlocked.

Well between the game getting a bunch of criticisms from all over the place, as well as the fact that I wasn't really all that high on Legends Arceus in the first place, I was considering whether it was worth the $80 price tag. That being said, I did break down and bought it a day or two ago soooo... guess I'll just have to see for myself.

Currently at X rank, team is Clefairy, Sableye and Staryu.

Nice, I also had a mastemon. My final team was Mastemon, Skullseadramon, Valkyrimon, Armageddemon, Skullmammothmon, and Pukumon.

You gonna try Z-A right away or give it some time (or just avoid it altogether)?

Well I beat digimon, mostly. Once you reach the final dungeon like 20+ sidequests open up, and I only ended up doing enough to get to like rank 8 and a half.

Overall a solid game, most digimon games usually find some way to disappoint me but this time I think it was just pretty good this time. Now to consider whether its worth seeing how much pokemon will disappoint me XD.

Oh wow, what a heck of a coincidence, and its even referencing the fucking spider man pointing meme just to add an extra layer xD.

I used the Duramon line back in the second cybersleuth game, I agree it is pretty neat. Still working with ultimates myself, though I'm pretty sure I'll be able to unlock megas after I complete the next story section (just need like 100 more points...). My team for the past while has been, Angewoman, Piximon, Sharkmon, Skullseadramon, Mammothmon, and Masterblimpmon.

And no, I won't be jumping ship to pokemon right away. Pokemon ain't going anywhere, I'll be focusing on Digimon till its done. How bout you?

Yeah, crazy stuff. Does sound pretty neat though, South East Asia and we're potentially going to get a "seed" pokemon with "infinite" possibility? Not sure what that means but I wonder if you'll somehow be able to customize what it evolves into.

I'm currently clawing my way towards rank 7 so I can finally unlock megas, but it takes a lot of anomaly points to get there TT_TT

Oh wow I did not see that at all. An interesting mix, some turned out exactly how the fan artists imagined them, like meganium and... somewhat unfortunately hilariously starmie. While others turned out quite a bit different, like you say Barbaracle. I think the ones I'm most impressed by are Scolipede, Drampa, and Eelectross, though I'll probably still aim for Mega Falinks first and foremost.
