Yea that was funny, having a Naruto opening with rap is kinda hilarious, and it got me when he said "Sakoora the beautyfool" 🤣. I agree, these openings are fire and will always be engraved in our memories.

Yeah true, the opening is amazing. The song and visuals still hold up even today. It sucks that copyright takedowns keep ruining it on YouTube. Yea also about copyright, the first dubbed OP of One Piece was written and completed with words and everything, but they ran into copyright issues so they made it without lyrics, only instrumental.

Thanks for the website, it looks cool. It’s still annoying having to use third-party sites for something so simple.

Yeah, Takarajima wasn’t actually on TV. The only ways to watch it were on VHS, DVD, or online/YouTube. It’s still such a great show, I keep coming back to rewatch it every now and then

Haha yeah, I probably overloaded your feed a bit 😅. I did watch most of them, but honestly I’d say I’ve forgotten like 70% of what happened. I haven’t actually gone back to rewatch them, it’s mostly nostalgia seeing them again. Some I remember really well because I loved them and rewatched them so many times. I even found someone who made a public list with almost everything that aired on the Spacetoon TV channel, which made it way easier to add them.

Yeah, I get what you mean. I watched Ginga Sengoku on TV back then, so I didn’t deal with the sub issue. That must’ve been frustrating. Ginga actually reminds me a lot of Topo Gigio too.

Oh nice, I haven’t seen the Black Jack OVAs or Golgo 13 yet, but I know they’re classics. Gamba looks familiar though, I think it might’ve appeared on TV once, but I didn’t watch it. I’ll definitely put it on my list. I would also recommend watching Sally if you haven’t already, I think its name in the West is Princess Sara. I’d also recommend Sangokushi too since it’s similar to Ginga Sengoku.

I actually just switched to using MAL recently since before I was writing down everything I watched in a notebook lol. I’m trying to add all the stuff I watched back then now.

Yeah, you guessed it, I added you because I saw Silver in your favorites haha. Plus it’s rare to find someone who’s watched Takarajima, so I had to send a request. My profile’s styled after it because it was one of the first anime I watched as a kid at my grandma’s house, along with Future Boy Conan. Most of the old school anime on my list are ones I grew up with, so they stuck with me even though a lot of my other favorites are more recent and popular. As for me, my 2nd favorite from Dezaki is Hamtaro, and for old school anime I’d say Ginga Sengoku Gun’yūden Rai. How about you, do you have another Dezaki favorite besides Takarajima?

I am studying full-time engineering, so it's pretty tough to find time to watch anime. I have played since 2020, and most of my level was earned then. Currently, I only play for like two hours a week. I also looking forward to the next Ikuhara anime because I love his work so much. Thanks for your comment. I hope we will play together and message again in the future ♥

Also i've had Oniisama e on my PtW list for years now and I completely forgot when it came out, I was expecting early 80s at the latest bc it's a 70s manga but nope it really did just get an adaptation almost 20 years later lol. Is it as melodramatic as everybody says it is?
