Oh actually what I especially like about Metaphor is that its story and universe is totally different from Persona even though the main basis of the game is similar, especially when it comes to the battle mechanics etc, it's the kind of story that takes place in a fantasy medieval universe that is divided between multiple races and it's a race to reach power and stop the evil side from ruling the kindgom, it talks about very essential subjects that were rarely seen in Persona such as racism etc, I loved the story overall and the progression feels as good as a Persona game!!
Oh okay! You mean some Digimon creatures are very humanized? Well I always prefer interesting monsters though hahaha, I just like when they have an impressive recognizable design, that's why I love all the powerful dragon pokemon too xD

Ye sadly Mashle's female characters are not the new gen type of females that are as important and as developed as the other main male characters, just like it is for Jujutsu Kaisen for example.

Hahahah well I like Mario but not that much it's more because it was very funny and not expensive xD Yes they probably do that in Tokyo :( but it's surprising that it's THAT much compared to some other big cities like Osaka, well anyway the important part was the trip itself and the memories not only the merch fortunately xD I don't like Funko Pops as well it's kinda sad how they do them for soooo many characters but they all have that big head design I wish they did more "normal" figures for DC/Marvel characters for example :/

Yes xDD I really like when they do remake of such old anime, especially from the 60s, it's impressive. Don't worry OP simply gets better and better but you need to read/watch a lot obviously, there are so many great characters I can't even decide which one I prefer hahaha but Zoro is probably my fav I like his style and aura. Yes I read the book because it's a classic from the french literature I studied it at school (since I did literature studies before), they recently made a movie about it which was a very big hit here, I would recommend to check it out as well!

It's because Metaphor ReFantazio came out this year! And I played it from January to February, I hope Atlus will release more similar games, it's just like Persona but with totally new characters and universe. I think there are a lot of Jojo fighting game right? xD I always hear about these ones. Yup I saw a bit of the new Digimon game and tbh it looks exactly the kind of game I love, it's like a monster JRPG like Pokemon x Dragon Quest right? I never played Digimon games yet, though I know some of them like Digimon World 3 for example.

I preferred Mashle manga over the anime so I was fine with it but nothing too great on this side, I agree that it was more interesting at the end, I just don't remember much about the details already xD Still, Mashle had its best moments in the end, not all of the side characters were properly developed I would say though :/

I got a LOT of anime merch I Japan HAHAHA but not everything I wanted... I mainly got figures (maybe too many) xD also bought some anime shirts for fun and I also have a big Mario figure. I wanted to buy DVDs of anime that are unknown/have not many audience since I still have the challenge to watch one of these each month and since I do it for years I have some knownledge about these shows, I so many DVDs of these animes when I was there but couldn't buy them simply because I had to buy everything in Tokyo and when I arrived in Tokyo there was none of these DVDs sadly and some of them were available but very expensive compared to what I see in other cities. I didn't see much anime merch in American it was mainly Marvel etc stuff like this lol, but that was still fun, there's a huge funko pop store in Los Angeles I visited it was impressive because they have 3-4 meters figures too.

Yes I watched Dororo when it aired (the new one, not the one from the 60s obviously xDD) it was cool, I like samurai stories like this one with mysterious characters. That's cool for Digimon, I might watch the new Digimon anime too at some point, I only watched the original remake a few years ago. But these days I'm mostly reading One Piece, I read from Enies Lobby to the end of Whole Cake Island in 2-3 months, now I'll do a pause because it's too long lol, I also watched Gankutsuou which is basically Monte-Cristo the anime but very stylized, I loved this one.

I hope that you're doing better now, I'm doing fine, I was wondering why I didn't see you on twitter anymore but now it makes sense. I don't exactly remember the context of what I said previously tbh it's been so long but regarding the blood test it's probably related to the issues I've always had since I just have too much calcium in the blood and it gives me kidney stones, but from what I remember I was fine despite that and now it's okay I would say except that I felt sick for like one week because of the sugar I ate when I was in the USA this summer, the sugar there was way too aggressive for me.

The persona mobile game isn't really good from what I heard so i didn't play it but I mainly kept playing PC games especially on Steam Deck I also played Metaphor ReFantazio and finished the game when it came out earlier this game and I also played the Yakuza games fully finishing Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Like a Dragon. I also played some JRPG I didn't play before like Ni No Kuni and also some chill games like Stardew Valley etc, I think that's all for this year xD At least you seem to have fun with the mobile games so it's all good :)

I read Mashle's manga and watched the anime! Though I don't like it that much, it's just like a harry potter x one punch man parody but the comedy is hit or miss and I think it wasn't that interesting to me after a few episodes. The digimon anime should be good I didn't start it but I heard it's gonna be 50+ eps!!

Also regarding the trips my experience in Japan was AWESOME I visited so many cities and basically when from Hokkaido to the very south of Okinawa so I saw so many things I could write an essay about it LOL. Otherwise I also went to Morroco and the United States, both were good experiences but not as good as Japan, though for the USA it was my first time going there and I'm glad I could go to different states from New York City to Las Vegas to Los Angeles etc so it was a full experience.

Anyway now that you're back do you plan to do other things on MAL and try some other new shows/manga if you feel better and motivated now?

Yup I played P3R and loved it tbh, it's a remake but a really good one, Atlus rarely disappoints I feel like, I need to continue it I paused it a few weeks but I was not TOO far from the end already.

Yeah tbh romance is annoying in most cases but that's also why I don't mind when it's quick or even dumb ones because you don't focus on that part and it's just a way to develop most of the characters sometimes

Ahahah well it's indeed kinda creepy I would say the environment is creepier than the monsters but the monsters are used in all SMT games even the ones in Persona are the same so with time you get to know them like Pokemon ones

I can't help you with this I would say it depends on what you want to enjoy in games because for me it's different even if I hate romance IRL when it's about myself in stories I find it fine, except when it takes most of the plot when I don't care about the characters xD

There are several switch emulators like Yuzu but the best one IMO is Ryujinx I've been using this one because it even has a multiplayer option that works well so you can't play switch games with people that also have the emulator, like for example I played Super Mario 3D World with a friend like that

That's true, but sometimes it's only still funny because of nostalgic values, but no idea how is evolving Keroro later but I think it's only slice of life/comedy episodes with all the frogs since they seem to be all introduced in only 20 eps~, you can watch the new pokemon season every 10-20 episodes for example, this way you won't have a big amount of episodes to catch up at the end xD Anyway I started Detective Conan just for fun and I like it, I reached episode 60 but I stopped to watch other things because I obviously won't sit and watch 1100 episodes xD

Yes it was good! I wish I could visit more but time goes too fast xD Here it was genuinely cold for weeks, like sometimes 15° and raining the kind of weather you have in Autumn, but now it's warmer, though nothing too high, like 28°

This is why it makes me laugh when I play some other JRPG at the same time, like Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne where I need to spend hours just to gain 2-3 levels on my characters xD

Well the issue is where you can save, at least for me, playing the DS version on an emulator should be much easier since you can make save states and not being forced to re-play the whole dungeon after losing against the boss I guess... but yeah that's stupid definitely.

Ahah yes I'm still interested, I've just been watching Pokemon recently, and Keroro Gunsou as well just a bit but I stopped around ep 30 it was funnier in my memories

Sorry for late reply I just came back from my vacation trip abroad xD

I believe they wanted to make the rival battle that comes after the champion the real challenge but it's so dumb to ruin a champion's potential just for that... not to mention that it's soooo easy to make free XP in this game because you have infinite terra crystal raids you can do and you get the equivalent of one super candy everytime you finish one, I got my starter at lvl 100 so early in the game that it wasn't funny anymore and I stopped using him xD

Yeah I believe it's just to make space but well, it's sad this way :(

Ahah yes, it's only for the ones that came out first I mean not the oled or the lite ones since they have been fixed obviously, but it's incredible to be able to play to all the games for free on the original console xD I already tried so many games, I like New Pokemon Snap for some reason it's dumb but kinda entertaining, there is also the remake of pokemon dungeon mystery I loved the game on DS back then, now I find it pretty hard xD if you die at any floor level or during the boss you need to do the thing again from the very beginning

I don't know if it's gonna be worse or not in the future, I just need them to add difficulty settings and everyone will be happy
