yeah i get that, it's too bad they don't give you a choice since it sets you back a bit. totally sucks you have to serve right after you get out of school too, can barely even catch a break first!

i see! and yeah joining the military here is optional, the only time it's ever required is if you were to get drafted in the event of a war or other national emergency, but even then it's only men that get picked, women aren't required to sign up for selective service

yeah! it's kinda nice having a block schedule since there's fewer classes to worry about which makes studying and doing homework much easier being that there's not as much information that you have to remember. our school days are 8 hours too, but each block is 1 hr and 30 mins long instead of having 8 classes with each being about 45 mins long

that's too bad you can't choose your classes! we're required to take so many classes for each subject (math, science, english, history, elective, language, etc.), but they allow us to choose what specific classes we want to take. for example, i'm currently taking earth science, but i could've chosen to do chemistry instead

awh really? that stinks you guys don't have teacher workdays
