i had found two volumes of the original manga in my local public library when i was 6 years old. they were the 2nd edition TokyoPop volumes, so the book covers took the original book cover from the JP version and changed the pink design to a yellow and red clow card frame design.



so beautiful... it was my very first manga that i ever read too so it was practically love at first sight lol


the Dark Horse omnibus prints keep the original Japanese pink design and i'm grateful to have them, but i do still feel nostalgic for these TokyoPop covers XD

you're lucky to have gotten to watch the show on TV, i never did and didn't even know it had an anime until several years after starting to read the manga. must have been a fun time!! oh and are you interested in other anime similar to CCS btw? i might know some anime you might be interested in!
