Am a dingus indeed, but even a dingus knows when a story is building up to some ending than a nothing burger when it comes to tales of struggling with abuse, bullying, social ostracizing, childhood trauma. Sure, I get the message that there's no magical solution, but the solution shouldn't be just "eat the shit life gives you and move on".

That's essentially how it could've been interpreted, but I can see how that has an appeal so long as you have someone to eat away at it together, but that also generously misses the point of having a network of support to confront and move over such dynamics, than just sticking around to act as the punching bag.

I watched it because it was recommended to me as something similar to Made in Abyss, but alas it wasn't the tearjerker I expected out of it in the ways I hoped from a story like that.

I mean, I was sold on the first ep so that should give an idea if you like the concept or not. Kamiya Hiroshi voices the teacher, but he's a main character anyway

I'm enjoying it so far, nothing mind blowing, just your typical battle shonen. I’ve noticed a lot of people comparing it to Blue Exorcist, which I haven’t seen yet, so I can’t really say. But if you have seen it, you might spot the similarities and end up with a different take than mine

it's not bad!! i haven't finished it yet though hahaha, i stopped watching around episode 3? and haven't gotten back around to it yet, but i definitely plan on finishing it

Durarara is a waste of time. you could end the show after one season and still get the same meaningless ending, plot, characters/everything. it's basically a filler show.
there are no good fights, no good jokes, not even a good twist.

Undead has everything Durarara lacks (FYI it's just a fun show, i now think 9 is an overkill, but it's a 9 compared to Durarara).
it has good fights, it's funny, better animation. it's not a masterpiece like AOT/Naruto, but in my opinion, it's a very good show.

I watched horror movies and played GTA when I was a kid. But I see now that it's not intended for kids, which honestly makes it even worse. Ill reduce the rating. Thank you for telling me.

Is that really the case? I would find it very surprising if it was.

• The characters are children, despite it not making sense for all the retainers to be children
  
• Their personalities are very simple and basic
  
• The humor is very juvenile and childish
  
• The politics, strategy and court intrigue is very simplistic without any attempt at realism or complexity
  

If it was really 17+, I would expect a more complex plot, more mature comedy and a stronger attempt at portraying interesting strategy.
