I'm curious as to what constitutes your rating convention? Also, congratulations on having watched as many titles/series as you have; kudos. I was reading your preliminary review of Bikkurimen and it was very brief. I was hoping to find more about the criteria you use to rate anime on this page.... but I can't seem to find any good hints. The anime you've deemed 10's is enormous! Is it too hard to put into words what quantifies a rating of 10? God bless and good luck with all of life's challenges.

Pretty much anything I gave a 5 or higher. For genres, I usually enjoy cute slice of life and psychological stories or if I'm watching action, I prefer something more chaotic. I don't really like stuff that's more melodramatic or depressing for the most part.

Art style and presentation are also pretty important to what I like as I'm quite strict when it comes to how consistently appealing something is to me from a visual standpoint.
