I liked elfen lied, well directed.
I watched a lot of anime from these years, I liked almost them all.
I added them to my list, thank you so much! Have a nice day/night, what time is it where you live? it is afternoon here.

You're welcome. I think it is the best anime I ever watched, better also than clannad and your lie in april, and tied with fruits basket. The direction is great, plenty of symbolism and has deep, deep meanings and quotes, I learnt a lot by watching it. But it is quite old, from 2007 and 2008. But to me, those are also great times when it comes to anime.

To me nagisa was so cute, I liked her.
Yes, fruits basket was truly a mastepiece. Also I recommend you ef a tale of memories and ef a tale of melodies, is love genre but great.

Yes it was. It is a masterpiece to me, like clannad and your lie in april. Why you didn't quite like Clannad first series?
sharava Feb 24, 7:48 AM
My favorite too are these, although I liked also clannad.
You don't like fruuts basket?
sharava Feb 24, 7:42 AM
In fact I thought you were joking in saying that.
We have quite a few shared anime watched, which is your favorire?
sharava Feb 24, 7:36 AM
Not like yours, mine is still almost empty.

Yeah, 13 Sentinels is fucking amazing lol, I couldn't recommend it more if I wanted to. I also noticed that you are one of the few people that loves both Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0 enough to have them in your favs (I don't have S;G 0 there but it is tied with S;G in my eyes). It is weird enough that people watch S;G 0, let alone that they like it as much as the og.
And you are CRAZY for putting that many games, movies and comics in your profile lol, I love it though. How were you documenting all that stuff before putting it there?
DarkFirefly72 Feb 23, 6:40 AM
I already replied to you in that forum lol, but it is probably better to continue the conversation here.
The Elden Ring DLC was indeed pretty fucking difficult lol, Radahn is insane, maybe my fav boss ever along with Ludwig.
13 Sentinels is a game Atlus (so the Persona/SMT guys that we both really like) released in like 2019 I think, basically a Visual Novel tbh (it has gameplay but it isn't the main focus of the game and I wouldn't enter that game expecting Persona level gameplay lol, it is smth you have to do as a formality). It is one of the best stories I've ever experienced, it is a time travelling crazy story that has 13 protagonists. Every protagonist basically has an individual story into the game (but every character's story is deeply connected to one another) and every time you choose who you want to play with (and lets say every protagonist has smth like 10 levels you have to "beat"), so for example, you can continue Jack's story (I'm making up the names) and after you beat a level of Jack's story you can choose whether to continue with him or continue with any of the other 12. The thing is that the gameplay part of the game is literally "another game mode". It is separate from the story. When you reach certain levels of the story you have to continue the gameplay part because they "block you" from continuing until you play enough of the gameplay part. Kind of weird game system, but the story is 1000% worth it.

Good to know. I would say my favorite is the Gold Silver and Crystal arc. I guess it was the combination of being a lot more refined version of those older arcs and the protagonist trio which I liked all 3. Silver might be one of my favorite characters, Gold was pretty basic but I think in a much better way than Red. I believe that arc was when the change of illustrators happened although the art style shift was kind of subtle. Just being slightly less chibi. I think there are some official translations for those sub stories but people just haven't scanned them yet. I found an Ebay listing for Ginji's rescue team volume 2 but it was just the paper, somebody had ripped the entirety of the volume out of the cover. Couldn't stop laughing.

Oh that's right, Pokemon Adventures. There are a lot of other Pokemon manga out there but many are really obscure so there's no way to find scans for em. I read Pokemon Special until about halfway through the Diamond and Pearl chapters. I think I'll pick it back up when I'm finished with MAL's 2026 challenge.
Do you have a favorite arc?
