No problem :D. The only thing I want to warn you about is sometimes the idealization of the love interest is TOO strong. This is a deliberate reduction to the absurd, but I think you'll definitely roll your eyes more than once.

I don't know who you heard from, that Kaichou wa Maid-sama! a bad show and has a trash love interest, it's a pretty funny high school comedy that parodies the "perfect guy x average girl" pairings and at one time attracted a lot of guys to shoujo anime due to its gender-neutral presentation. Also, since you love LGBTQ content, it deals with some queer themes quite realistically, although more so in the manga than in the anime (the adaptation is not complete and didn't get to certain arcs).
