[10] sen to chihiro no kamikakushi : has a special spot in my heart, since it was one of the first anime i have ever seen and been rewathing it since then. that is why i think this is the only anime that deserves such a rating. but even if we remove the fact that it is more or less thanks to nostalgia, i would still consider this movie as a masterpiece. but in the end, it is on the same page as those nines below, but just with a little bit stronger personal feelings.
[9] masterpiece : completely flawless - nothing to nitpick. apart from magnificent art, fabulous story or great experience, most of these reached my heart and left me speechless. truly perfect in objective or subjective point of view.
[8] gem : special and hard to find. it is close to being called a perfection, but got some minor flaws when it comes to the objective point of view.
[7] great : highly respected. awesome experience with a very few flaws - almost nothing to complain about. would even rewatch and definitely recommend to everyone.
[6] good : respectable and unforgettable. got a noticeable flaws, but was worth watching - would recommend. calling it an "average" would be an insult.
[5] average : generic, nothing special or lacking too many elements, but fine show. positive experience - enjoyed watching it and would recommend some of those, even tho due to their unoriginality or worse execution, i often forget about them completely.
[4] weak : not bad, but not good enough to be considered as an average. negative experience - mostly anime that got a potential, but in the end was just disappointing.
[3] bad : more negatives than positives, but got at least one quality that i might find good. still, clearly a failure.
[2] horrible : unwatchable - this watching experience equals suffering. it is possible, that i already dropped it at least three times and hardly even finished it.
[1] garbage : absolute trash. there is nothing good about it. finishing this can traumatize you for a long time and makes you even question your existence.
