Oh, yes of course, because it's your own thing...That's kind of obvious...But there are degrees that would increase your chance of success, such as business, advertising, marketing, etc..

That's a very vague statement, people "who own business" have to know how business and business world works, and have funds to support themselves, and many other things...

Just joining the workforce is not a good idea, you should get your studies prioritized first so that you're a qualified worker instead of just another highs-chool graduate and such, specialized work pays better, career opportunities etc etc.

Sucks to hear though.
Graduating is good because you get to be free from primary school and finally out into studying things you like, or working if you just want to join the workforce, though the latter is not advisable.
