What have been your favorite challenges to work on in the club? Or least favorite 👀?

No worries, I totally understand! Now I must apologize for the late response. These past couple weeks have been packed, and then I’ve been cramming my anime monthlies in where I can.

I love that mindset! I’m pretty open to trying anything. I am willing to give certain ecchi a try, but I haven’t had much luck in that genre so far. I’m bummed to say that I haven’t gotten to Tenkuu no Escaflowne yet, but I will be starting it within the next week for sure. It’s a personal pet peeve of mine when someone asks for recs and then take forever to actually start them, so I refuse to be one of those people 😤.

My icon is from Veil! I’m obsessed with the characters and the art, and I recommend it to everyone I know. Truly, the panels could be hung in an exhibit; they’re that stunning. I was thinking about changing it to a different panel soon, once I’ve figured out a more cohesive design for my profile (I’ve been procrastinating on that for awhile tbh). I’ve actually been dying to know where your pfp is from 👀.

Okay, so literally all of those classics sound super appealing to me. It may be a bit ambitious due to it being finals month, but I want to fit Tenkuu no Escaflowne into my monthly if I have the time.

Natsume Yuujinchou is definitely one I want to give a try soon, but I’ve been watching quite a few slower-paced, lighter anime lately, so I’m more in the mood for something fast or more…heavy? Like a good adult-cast action or comedy or a darker mystery/suspense. I’m usually down for anything, as long as it’s not ecchi, but that’s kind of the vibe I’m feeling right now. It seems like you might’ve already nailed that vibe with a couple of your recs already haha. What are you typically into?

No worries! I have the ADHD brain, so I often forget to respond, especially once the notification has disappeared.

No rush on the recs either! I notice you like reading/watching quite a few oldies, which I’m pretty unfamiliar with, so even if you wanted to put me onto a classic you enjoy, then I’m super down.
