Im in my 30s and really like anime and manga. I just got into anime in 2003 and I just started to read manga in 2007.
My favorite animes include One Piece, Code Geass, Code Geass R2, Prince of Tennis, Skip Beat, Golden Boy, Seirei no Moribito, and Hunter x Hunter.
My Favorite manga include MAR and One Piece.
Besides anime and manga I enjoy hangin' with my friends, playing video games, watching movies, watching TV, and listing to music.
Some of my favorite video games are Golden Sun, The Legend of Zelda, Super Samsh Bros., and Pokemon.
My favorite movies are Lord of the Rings, Matrix, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Zombieland, Spiderman, Batman Begins, Rocky, Dark Knight, and Kick-Ass.
My favorite TV shows are Perosn of Interest, The 100, The Goldbergs, and The Flash.
Some of my favorite artists are Linkin Park, Taylor Swift, Dierks Bentley, and Journey

I would say you truly get the best experience by reading through the manga. The pace of it is perfect. The anime is nice to watch afterwards though just to have everything sort of "come alive."
