Pitichampi
Hey everyone,
I'm pitichampi, from France.
I fell into anime a long time ago and never really climbed back out. What I'm into are shows with real personality—the kind that build a world, an atmosphere, or characters you don't forget too quickly. Adventure, sci-fi that asks weird questions, dark vibes with actual style... all of that speaks to me. I can go from an epic quest to something more experimental without overthinking it, unless episode two mentions some obscure historical detail—then I might vanish down a Wikipedia rabbit hole for two hours before realizing I forgot to start the next episode.
I also write haiku. Not out of tradition, but because I like the exercise: strip away the unnecessary, keep the image, leave just enough room for the reader to fill in the rest. (And honestly, because it's the only literary format I have a shot at actually finishing.)
Otherwise, I'm a geek at heart. Not the "RGB setup gaming chair" kind, more the "curious person who takes everything apart to understand how it works" type. Open source software, infosec, slightly unusual systems, networks, cryptography, tinkering... I like tools that stand the test of time, communities that care more about doing things right than making noise, and old tech that keeps running when everything else has already crashed. (My greatest achievement so far: getting a Raspberry Pi to talk to a dot-matrix printer from the '90s. To print haiku. Naturally.)
I'm also really into board games: co-op, narrative, cosmic horror, strategy... Especially the ones where you end up laughing in despair when you realize the scenario was impossible from the start. If it involves thinking a bit, storytelling a lot, and cursing the dice, I'm in. (Latest feat: a Call of Cthulhu campaign where I managed to make my players question their own sanity. And mine.)
I'm here to chat, discover, and share.
See you in the threads,
pitichampi
