No, I think how a certain thing is potrayed or presented is definitely worthy of criticism. Simply changing how the themes are presented can make huge differences. For this exact reason, I gave Mushoku Tensei only a 6/10, when it could have been an 8 or a 9 otherwise. In the end, opinions differ people by people, and enjoyment of a piece of media or literature is mostly subjective, so that's that.

what you see as the core of the story has no further impact... so... I don't think I'm the one not understanding it, BTW is fine if you enjoy it

Agreed. The first 5 episodes actually made me want to watch every week. No question I would watch and enjoy it as a slice of life show with no major plot. More comedy and more character interactions. Then let Yota and Izanami get together. Easy 7/10.

Umm...to address your criticism, that was solely on the 1st 6 episodes, the personal rating will change over time depending on how the series progresses, that review score is just a measure of what was already aired during that time.
